Esquimo - they RNS'd to say that results would be some time before 30th October... so I'm not holding out for anything this month... unless they feel like giving us some actual news, like what status the handover is in. The results won't be anything to wait for in any case if they stick to what happened up to June. We need info on everything since...

Underwater currently, although was briefly up when it bounced.
Assuming the operational handover to ILTL and coal production is confirmed in the next month, I would hope that would be the turning point we've all been waiting for...

With some positive news that they have successfully executed on strategy and ILTL are now operating the mine... which they have until October 30th to achieve!
Until then... buckle up, close your eyes and "enjoy" the MM rollercoaster. Personally, it's too late for me to get off and go queue for the pedalos... :)

JZD - agreed. It's an opportunity that should be leveraged.

I would agree that in normal circumstances any company delaying financials will cause concern and suspicion.
In this case, I think they are more likely to be using the time to effect the handover (assuming D'man was correct) so that they have something positive to say around the numbers. Numbers alone, I think we all know it's not going to be about profit at this stage.
Personally, am happy to wait another month if needed...

News will come and this will move. Probably time to top up if anything but I'm just going to hold.

Well at least this gives them another month to get the handover completed and work on that positive spin. May even allow for a little averaging down at this rate!

Interim results to be published no later than 30 October.

It's going to be a balancing act:
- overall financial performance for last year isn't going to be good as they didn't have anything to sell (SP down)
- handover to ILTL complete (SP up) or not (SP down)
- news of additional agreements (SP up)
I'm hoping that our new NED will make his presence felt and that we get a decent release that builds on the strategic turnaround, clearly demonstrating that the "false starts" (per AM) of the past are well and truly behind us.
