GKB47 - totally agree on the communications and a change in BOD would be a good point to outline strategy and status on current projects. As we all know, AIM thrives on news and dies on silence... it doesn't all have to be RNS-worthy; even simple, targetted use of Twitter can keep interest up and the SP buoyant.

GW - they had to issue the RNS to be compliant with AIM rules on reporting and not providing an update on the two key open points would have been a sure confidence dasher.
Stating that the visa/handover issue should be resolved in Nov. if they actually don’t have a clue would clearly be a mistake and would drag them back in terms of credibility, but time will clearly reveal all. I would like to believe that the new open and honest approach is also part of the fresh start.
Totally agree it’s an opp to average down, which I do with as I’m currently over 50% down.. again...
On a positive note, the trade volumes so far today don’t show anything more or less than normal - which is a very reassuring thing. Could have been carnage at 8:00 and it wasn’t.

I would actually say it's more positive than usual!
The RNS was factual and didn't appear overly jam-tomorrow-ish:
EDL have put in place a structure that will take us forward. The hold-up with visas would appear to be an ILTL issue, rather than an EDL failure - and admin delays are more than credible under the current COVID circumstances.

Droftarts - I wouldn't necessarily jump to any conclusions about East Timor quite yet. MB is 72yrs old so to step back and focus on other things isn't exactly unreasonable.
Would also agree with theAcc in terms of necessary qualifications for the man (or woman!) at the top: finance and experience running a company is way more important than being an SME in what the company actually produces. You can surround yourself with those. (The Chairman/CEO of the company I work for runs the one of the largest FinTechs in the business, but I doubt he could code himself out of a paper bag - but as a company, he has achieved impressive growth in terms of our size and, critically, our share price).

Omir - good point, However this is AIM and any GSK I have (as I know I do) will be in my FTSE-based pension, managed by my pension provider.
AIM stocks sit and think silently... then either go bust or rocket.
I’m happy to fund this to sit and think silently because I can. Risk reward.
Agree with you that lack of news is a bore and doesn’t add to a share’s attraction. But the assets remain.

SoaS - I'm not sure what's more worrying: the fact that we haven't seen a mass exodus signalling leaked doom and gloom to come in an RNS tomorrow (IF it comes).. or the possibility that there isn't any news coming tomorrow thus no need to take any preemptive action! :)

Final top up for me to get to a round number... and average down a bit more! Down quite a lot at present.

Give it just a little more time, chaps. Unless the METS are flawed, it’s not a question of if, it’s a question of when and how high. Look at all those success stories around us with half the assets, and or double the risk premium.

I’ve scoured the inter web but there’s no mention of anything linked that I could find. The baronoil website looked as though it had been through a make-over but maybe that’s just my worsening memory. Did note that the company behind their website is owned by... Proactive. There’s a surprise.
