Exactly the reason to hold. Don't let a SP fool you - in time true value will be realised. Solely from an asset play point of view it is attractive hence my patience - just a bonus to have a slowly improving balance sheet / business coming with it.
I'm sitting tight.
Bought a holding. Looking to add more as funds become available. After a lot of research I believe this is lowering in risk and I'm very confident for the future growth; the team looks experienced and not to mention Luke Johnson joining the board. Management Contracts seem attractive to me despite no asset value as earnings per share will increase. Marketing advances will diversify clientele nationality and the hotels themselves seem to be run fantastically; especially now with Luke onboard who can improve profitability in the food & beverage sector. There's a lot more I could say about this one but over the next couple of years, i'm really bullish. Can't complain with the dividend either; although i reckon the divi itself is scaring a few people off bc it looks to good to be true! Will see good growth in FY 17 and beyond. GL all, tealo.
NAV still below Market Cap. Quality/Service of hotels seems superb. I'm only 19 and even I can see that! Growth Prospects look strong and can always diversify from UK market clientele without too much struggle due to the great product the company provides in hotels + service. Will definitely be investing here within the next couple of months. Only slight concern is sheer exposure on just the one island of Barbados - in the event of a hurricane etc. Seems like a great long gamer this one. tealo.
Would hardly call a 4 ish + bagger over 5 years boring! Think of the long game!
Hi dyche, I have a background in the waste / recycled aggregate industry ( working in my fathers businesses) gaining my excavator tickets and class 2 rigid licenses this year. I turned down university to learn the game. Yes its a hell of a lot different to heavy aggregates but I also have some knowledge on them. I do slightly disagree with margins on regard to this as an efficient operation can be lucrative in confident market condition but I know how strict regulations are and expenses for constant plant renewal/insurance/compliance etc and this can be a real hinderance to profit, a strong management team is whats needed to contra this and I believe Breedon has that quality. If anything they do aim to be the safest and most profitable in the industry and those aspirations don't sound bad at all to me. I'll top up in the lows & I still stand by my choice of BREE as I'm confident I'll see a good return long term, today hasn't bothered me. GL mate.
cheers mate, I have 100% got in at the wrong price but I'm in this for the long term so I'll probably try & nail down my average. Results will be interesting and you are definitely right about the management its a very strong board with ambition. Would be nice to acquire a few smaller businesses/individual quarries in the upcoming year to keep the ball rolling nice and steady. GL pal.
Hi guys I've just turned 19. I've been watching breedon for over 6 months now. Timed it wrong due to waiting for other holdings to rise as I should have got it at 75p ish but bought 13k shares at 88p mark. Oh well i'm in this for the long run. Great Business Model and huge scope for future growth. I believe it will double within next 5 years. Possible dividend after a few years also. Really confident about this one. Gl all, tealo
I can't be the only one that thinks this share looks overvauled? I'm not holding any shares of Quixant but looking at the financials it looks rather overpriced to me personally.
Decided to get out monday AM. Only took a small punt on Sepura a few weeks ago of around 10k shares for 20.2p. I'm happy to take a small loss as I have personally lost faith with the BOD after this disgraceful offer from Hytera. I suppose I'm only 18 so I could be wrong here but I'd rather cut my losses than witness this fall further. I'm also invested in Pennon and Premier Oil (average @ 48p) currently. Would rather sell this and reinvest elsewhere than take the risk of losing a portion of my account. GL all, tealo
