Marve, thanks for that post, finally a sensible post trying to address an actual question which is part of the rational for why we are where we are at after weeks of waiting.

strongboes - no one is privy to the internal sales strategy, however you haven't answered the question. You say there will be sales on approval, so why have there been no sales on CE approval. It's a daming indication that GDR havn't got their s h . t together when it comes to sales and distribution and it has demonstrated the DB even with all the facts at his fingertips does not understand approvals process. I still want to know why approvals process for two key markets was not started till the middle of June when the CE process was started back in April. Sorry but GDR have done p i s s poor from management prospective and it is costing all the shareholders who believe in the product. You cannot be certain what is going to be happening in 6 months, yet we can be certain what would be happening to day had GDR got there approvals process started much earlier for the main markets, it would give chance to have a part of a known pie that currently exists.

Poor decision making not putting in approval requests until mid june is shocking management. Why so long when they had the CE approval confirmed in MAY. The sales team need either being giving the riot act at them or just get new Sales personal in who can sell quickly. DB has to take responsibility for this, he was suggesting June for first sales and has been found out to have made that prediction which it now appears he is not able to back up. It has been p i s s poor from the GDR team. Having a good product means sweat f a if you cannot sell the thing. Frankly yes they have time still but the performance of the management team in the last two months is not good. Sorry I want to be able to praise them but not with current results and it is results that matter more than anything in the current market. Do Better GDR!

Ignore lb28 - he probably is heavily down and needs this to spike. In his world all is good and there are zero issues with gdr. If you challenge to to look at the facts he'll just throw bad language at you and tell you that you ate wrong. Ignore or filter him.

So they had CE approval and were expecting g significant sales in june. They didnt put applications for Fda and india approval in till mid june so it's clear db was expecting sales in eu or uk. The flaw in the plan was the whole of the eu has said nope we already have tests sorted thanks. The reality is that we could have made sales in europe as soon as that ce approval was given but the sales team were clearly slow off the mark and didnt have any pre-orders arranged for eu countries before eu approval. I suspect gdr have been shocked by how hard it is to sell their product. They may have a gold standard product but it is a sea of 100's of available tests and so far the gdr sales team are not up to the task of making the product stand out. Its poor from gdr and have cost shareholders. However I'd say now is a good buy in point if you are willing to wait a few months there is a chance this could still be turned around if india and america can provide exceptional results. Final note is they clearly have enough capacity to meet the demand for the gdr product. Overall I'm not that impressed with progress made since may and I dont want to keep hearing excuses about approvals, why did it take them so long to get the approvals process started for Fda and india....

Lb28 - you are such an angry man arent you. If people dont have the same view as you then it's just poor language and having a go at people. What a nasty piece of work you are. Not worth listening to and certainty cannot have a sensible debate on all aspects of gdr. You need to sort out that anger issue of yours.

So the 'moaners' were correct, they didnt achieve any sales in june, nor so far in july. They have agreements in place which is a start but that rush for the 8 million placing which destroyed shareholder confidence seems to have been just rushed to take advantage of the market at the time. They haven't used that money as of yet.
1 million of orders in pipeline is a start but the market is not impressed. Hopefully they can Fda and india approvals soon as they are massive markets that could be the transformation change this company needs. As for Africa, based on my previous experiences that is a minefield to get anything done quickly so for me its india and usa that the company has a chance with. The eu approval what a waste of time that was.

For once myself and Magsy are in alignment on something. Yes DB with all the information available to him made the the statement of potential first sales in June. Yet the evidence is turning out to be that was never going to be achievable. Either way it looks bad for DB, either he didn't understand the process or he deliberately lied when he said significant sales in June. I'd be surprised if he lied so I am assuming he was just naive to the process which now means we can't fully trust what he says going forward. GDR needs to produce sales and quickly.

longtermholder14 -- Oh wow that's a special skill you have knowing everything about a person without ever meeting them. You should have a chat with GDR they could use your skills to generate some sales. I have a good position in this share and its mainly fun money to make probably more than most investors on this bb. Even so although I can wait for as long as needed I didn't get to a good position in life by ignoring the difficult questions. GDR have not been updating the shareholders because the logic says there is nothing which the market has to be alerted too. So no sales in Europe in 7 weeks since the EU certification... that is p i s s poor and doesn't say much for the GDR sales team..

No Grim, this is the main question which is affecting the shareprice and should not be ignored. It is a serious issue the company has. They expected first sales in June, have no sales, no sales in Europe which has covid cases all over the eurozone, so why does no one want to purchase this gold standard, cheap test. There is an issue and it is clearly holding up sales. IT's the core issue which is affecting how much your shares in GDR are worth.

6 weeks on an no sales recorded in EU when they have the EU certification to sell. So why is no one in any country in europe want to buy GDR covid test. It is a worrying issue. If we can't sell in europe which has some of the easiest admin to get the test to market then what hope have we seeing a quick turn around of sales in the likes of india, africa and of course the usa where they always make it difficult for companies outside the usa. It's just **** poor for the shareholders while the GDR had a nice bonus for the work they have done from the last placing round.

Don't like guessing but what is the consensus for when first sales appear, I'm thinking end of july, another guesses?

As there will be no RNS tomorrow, want to be wrong but how many on here really think we are going to get Sales data anytime soon....

If there were a thousand thirsty people in the desert and GDR were there with the best water product would they sell to one of the people in need. Well based on how well they are selling their covid test it seems the people would be searching else where for dirty water...

Ok lb28, it's on you then to prove that there have been sales since you are so convinced there is. The simple evidence of no sales rns is fact. Now it's on you to prove fact that there have been sales. Should be interesting to see what facts you have to prove there have been sales. Your feelings that there have been sales dont count. If we all feel there have already been sales then shareprice would be a lot higher. So prove it, prove there have been sales already...

Lb28 - count to 10 and breath. Emotion does not help, you need to calm down. I've been invested in here since march, I'm disappointed the shareprice is where it is at but let's looks at facts. Db said not just sales but significant sales in june. How many sales have we had since.... zero... non.. 0. Expectations were raised and they have not been met, the share price is falling because the market has issue with no sales being met.
Now lb28 just calm down, your anger isnt going to change the share price and it doesnt bother me as you are not important and have no impact on share price.

This will be debated all day by people with different views and expectations. However it's simple, there was an expectation that sales would occur in june as db himself suggested, since then we have zero sales to date and the shareprice will correctly drift downwards. Get sales, shareprice will start to recover, the longer there are no indication of sales the further the shareprice will slide. Yes it's good to invest in companies but for many it's about trying to make short term profit. I'm fortunate i can wait as long as needed but that isnt the case for everyone.
