Over the many years I've been trading and investing in shares whenever things do not go the way shareholders expect there is usually a host of theories as to why the share price is where it is at. It can be either ideas as to why it's going to go up a billion percent or down to sub zero. In almost every case the theories are proven wrong. In GDR at the moment DB gave an expectation of Sales which have now categorically been proven to not have been realised. There are no indications from RNS as to when the approvals will come through. There are no sales which you can look at the asset side of the equation currently. These are facts which the company has released over the last few months. The market is not impressed and the price goes down. Should knew facts come along and support the journey of GDR then there will be a demand for shares again and the price goes up. The MM do what they do, they always win, the city always wins, if you are a pi and makes some money be grateful you have beat the city for a change. All we can do now is wait, who knows how long but the share price deserves to be where it is at, the company performance in the last two months has demonstrated they are still learning how to be a business selling tests. If they can't sell the gold standard kit in a market desperate for kits and if the company were slow in applying for approvals in their own key identified markets then again it is on the company and the market is not impressed. Lets hope for approvals shortly so that we can all recover our money from what has become a massive disappointment of a share.

Seem to have plenty of shares to offload today, if a couple of decent buys come in then should move them off the current ASK point. Currently after 73 the next ASK is 80. Yes for a change PEEL not holding this down.

J427 - Then how did NCYT get there approval so quickly. On average FDA are getting through 10 new approvals a week if you care to look on their website. It's a lot less than 6 months for approval of test, more like a few weeks. Long test periods are for new drugs for patients whereas GDR are a simple test. The FDA stuff will most likely approved for GDR in the next 2 - 4 weeks unless they have a problem with the test.

The level of support I'm seeing on L2 suggests this will start pushing back up, there is a quick enough gap to make back to 80's. I think we all know that it's about Sales now, even with the nonsense happened in the last few weeks I can't not see GDR eventually selling product in the next few weeks. The market for covid tests is world wide in a pandemic, they will eventually sell tests. Think how many tests worldwide are needed daily and the number of tests required is only increasing. There is room for GDR...!

Good buying pressure this morning and only the on MM holding this down today, the rest are ready to move above the morning opening price. Can see a positive finish to the end of the day, this has been heavily sold. Incredibly annoying the fact sales have yet to happen but let's give it a chance as they will get sales at some point in the next few weeks. DB has made some errors but his background is fairly strong, I'll give him benefit of the doubt that he has misjudged but he has the ability to make up for the errors made in the last few weeks.

Common PEEL play nice now, they are the only one holding this down as has been the case for weeks now.

At the moment this is in danger of falling below 50p which non one wants to see happen.

Lb28 last message to you as you are as thick as they come. You have no idea what anyone here holds or the strategy they use. I suggest you concentrate on looking after your own holdings, I doubt you have much invested in here anyway. I'd filter you but your just arent important enough to even be worth filtering. You can continue with your angry responses to people but one day you might grow up, let's hope you are young enough to still have time to work on that personality of yours.

Technical - even if poc product is another gold standard in uk business it tends to be who you know, especially where the government is concerned. Maybe an ex mp could join the gdr board ;)

Well lb28 I feel really sorry for you, you are about as wrong as it gets. I have a decent holding incan just put in the bottom draw if I want. You have to be one of the most troubled idiots I come across on these boards for a long time and I've been using this bb service since 2011. You have to accept there are other views to your own...

If roche etc dominate eu then there is no reason why they cant dominate usa , india etc. The biggest positive for gdr to restore confidence cirrentvis for gdr to show they can sell the product. A main reason we are so low at the moment is gdr have failed to show the market they can turn product into profit. Surely when db mentioned significant sales in june he was probably indicating eu sales at the time give how late they put in for Fda and india approval. So there is still positivity to be gained from getting sales in eu if possible. And Dave yes I'm invested having done my own research back in march. So far gdr have failed my expectations but I have yet to sell as I still believe first sales will turn this horrid share price around.

Despite there being zero sales in europe since 22 may eu certificate , there is still no reason why there cannot be any sales from eu now for gdr. So while the long night goes on for the Fda and india sales, how about the gdr sales team actually prove they can sell in the mature eu market. That would bring some confidence back into the gdr team and would have a solid impact on shareprice. So come on sales team let's get some eu sales.

@ticknick -- if GDR are not capable of generating strong sales with the golden product then it doesn't matter what else happens the shareprice will sink. However seems you answer is going to be but it's a good buying opportunity... Also to note if you really believe that this bb has any real impact on the share price you are deluded. Most people just tend to buy on the numbers that they see. If it goes up oh must buy for fear of missing out, if down then quick must sell so not to lose more. That is how most people trade these stocks on Aim.
The simple fact is, EU certification since May 22nd and ZERO sales from that date. Not good at all, the EU is probably the easiest market out of the ones being targeted...

@Technick -- I'll tell you what is not to like, the share price. While they may have a good product with the very late application for FDA and india markets, coupled to that a early successful EU certificate and zero eu sales there are serious concerns about just what they are doing from a sales and distribution point of view. Have to question if the management team have the people in place to get the product out to market. Even with the pre sales agreements waiting for FDA approval it is still a very small amount of sales. Sorry but the performance of GDR has not been overly positive from a shareholder point of view since May.

Lb28 - you must be down a lot on this for the anger that comes across in every one of your posts. Some shares do well and others just return a loss. If gdr ends up a loss there are plenty of other opportunities. Just relax, its iut if pi hands whether gdr will succeed now. Approvals were registered late in a time critical market, it is unfortunate but have to look the management. Either way if we loose on this just find other opportunities, get failing is not the end if the world if that is the outcome.

When did beckton apply for approval that is key. From Fda website they seem to approve around 10 per week, so it depends on backlog but would not surprise me if we are waiting till august for approval. Gdr management have really dropped the ball with this.

Without the approvals gdr cannot bring in money... that is not what the market wants to see. Market now only supports those covid stocks turning profit with exception of avct which just seems to defy market forces. Gdr are in no mans land until the approvals come along.

LB28 - Don't need to do any short on GDR, I have a nice size holding at various averages, so yeah my average is higher than I'd like but I can afford to not give a hoot if this goes to zero. I'm fortunate to be in that position in life. Hopefully when you make some money off this, one you will be thankful, two you will learn to understand that others have a different point of view to you which you can accept with out getting emotional. Suggest you try reading how to win friends and influence people, will make more of an impact in your life then whatever you make on GDR.

There currently over 100 tests for covid which have been approved in the USA under the EUA process. FDA appears to approve around 10 new tests a week. So yes USA is a target market for GDR but let not underestimate the competition that GDR is facing to generate sales. Just because the test is gold so called standard will not set it apart from home grown american tests.
