Potentially, yes. Although I believe AVCT uses affirmers in neutralising the virus, not antibodies. Still I'm expecting some form of news of partnerships to come out soon about this neutralising affirmers tech!

This has been a sickening day looking at the SP, but the trades going through show massive promise. Hefty 10k plus buys going through almost 3 times as often as the 10k sells. Not experienced enough to understand MM, but I feel that this has got to be someone loading up cheaply while trying to pull out shares from PIs.

Coming on here an seeing all talk of AVCT is comical. I'm heavily in both AVCT and GDR and both look healthy to move up, but GDR by a larger amount. I think this board will be full of potential newbies this weekend, so let's stop babbling on about other stocks as it doesn't look good. GDR can be a star without using others as a stepping stone.

Yep, take back what I said. All I saw on here was 'Google did this' and I've been caught out by Google's advertised closing price each day. Doesn't matter in the long term anyway.

Google is not great for following share prices - this was just an earlier trade showing up.

In2Win_2017: that's the point - there is no news out. It's irrational. The question you have to ask yourself is 'Do I trust that AVCT are about to come through with a good testing kit, that they have potential in cancer treatment and does this irrational dip on the stock market change that?'. Ultimately, you've got to trust the reasons why you bought in and sit on your hands.

Btw, I did the same with NCYT when they dropped. Made a nice 10% profit, but selling at £1.10 was a massive error. I should have backed my research. We might get a terrible RNS, but I think the chances of that are tiny. Hence, hold.

Because you only lose money if you sell. Think about it, if you couldn't see the SP between this Monday and if/when the price goes back to £2, then you'd know nothing different. Selling low, then buying back in on news is where you lose money.

Oh and also, the same 'this is a pump and dump, report it to the blah blah blah' was going on. They're looking for cheap entry to a very strong long term hold.

Have a look at NCYT at the end of February, there was a 50% drop in SP. Then look at what happened after. Holding on to all of my shares and turning off the computer.
