You can download a free chrome add on called builtwith, that tells you all you need to know about the tech stack each retailer use, Most of the list you’ve mentioned do show THG but some are incorrect, Hotel Chocolate certainly don’t use THG as a platform they use Salesforce commerce cloud, my company host there app that integrate with the platform as they do many of the others you mention, that being said they may use THG for some other purpose.
I think after yesterday it would have been nice to have a follow up, perhaps answering some of the unknowns such as…. Why pull the test rather than upgrade whilst selling. Will this mean reapplying for hua. What’s the expected timeframe to upgrade the test. What does this mean in terms of tech transfer and further work. Did we fail one of the certifications, FDA?
If this is just a matter of days/weeks I don’t believe it’s a huge deal but because we don’t know I can imagine many assume the worst, he se the massive sell off. I’ve never really had a major issue with management, but now isn’t the time for silence.
Forgot to post :) https://www.medicaltenders.com/
I think the general expectation that we market our product and companies will come to us is incorrect, the work done so far to to certify and and get on the Eu list etc is to tender... we apply for tenders, you dont need mass marketing at this stage, thats when we are selling to the public, any company with over half a £m contract will go to tender, take a look here, 9 pages of tenders just for covid antigen tests, that we can now bid for.... just one contract in this list is worth $5b another for $3b, still a big world outside of the UK and plenty to play for.
If like me & many others it seems, you suspect our first major order to be from Spain, its worth having a read of this article.
Interestingly Spain, ordered millions of Chinese lfts early last year only to find they were half as sensitive and basically useless so sent them back. Since then they still dont have a home use lft but authorisation is expected this month. Perhaps the delay in authorisation by the government is to make sure the next batch are best in class. anyway, have a read, im sure its been discussed so ignore me if already read. https://inspain.news/still-no-covid-19-self-test-kits-sold-in-spain/
Yeah neutronic, I suspect similar, between the 29th and 3rd something changed, perhaps a lost or delayed contract that was expected, it did seem like sentiment changed, then conifer sold, luckily the EU CE news landed and dug us out of what looked like the start of a drop. This does tie in with the rumours around the extended COVID restrictions if you believe we’re still involved, I’m torn personally, Alistair’s obviously changed tacked and is now being slightly less bullish but, previous presentation we’ve had specific mention of selling to governments, this time they didn’t make the board, just “still engaged” saying that, I can’t see it being anyone else if they do go for a uk supplier
Mad to think this stock has been on the cusp of greatness for a year of my life, I’m sure a few will remember last July when we were in a race with sona and they reported news (I forget what it was) and the share price went from $2-12 in 2 trading days…. I’m still hanging on for that type of rise, could it be the GAD contract is the game changer that propels us! Fingers crossed but fair to say this stock has some massive potential

Vaccine passport, OR testing passport to open up the economy
There could be an argument that we have done this fast track route in EU because we didn’t win a contract we would have expected to win based on our partnership with the government... so now we’re focussing on a new route to market across Europe and have sight of another contract. not that I care at all anymore, for me this is completely de-risked having potentially the best lft in the world, I’m certain orders from across the globe will fill current and future capacities.
My only concern is profit margin, £2 would be ideal, but I can’t see that from a £5 test (uk target) but it perhaps the EU will pay more.
Yeah, I can only see reference to the nasopharyngeal swab, they seem to have antibody too and part of test and trace program, so they say!
The test I’m seeing pop up most across the US is the Abbott pan bio test with a load of trials, obviously after innova test, but we all know that’s a pile of sheet!
