Does this mean that XLRs cannot fly with fixed engines? Are they not certifies or something? I remember wizz struggled to get 1st XLR to service as there was multiple delays due to certification.

I also wonder why shorts are not reducing, what are they waiting for? H1 results or something else?

On AI is all about narative. When you have something new it is hard to evaluate what it is worth as you can say robots will do all work and no himans will be needed so valuations can go to the moon, but you cannot say you can fly to the moon with planes. It is all defined and calculated and depends on competition with other airlines, management & supply vs demand.

I'll have to check current situation at the time of H1 results. I do think that european market is saturated , so many places you can go to for 15 pounds a flight. It is more expensive to get taxi to airport or get 2bears before flight...

I do also think that you can guess future of earnings/ revenue by checking fare prices compared fo historic prices. I do that myself for some routes, so I'll be checking that as well, but I dont have spreadsheet as such and not monotoring every route...

In the long run I want to put my money into AI, as it is future and currently stuck with this share as I dont want to leave with a loss. It is phycological thing, but it does have affect on me.

I am just holding too much if wizz and need to diversify, airlines are extremely risky and I've learned that wizz are not as transparent as they should by. They caused caos with annual results and they crearly knew more as it was repeat of last year nonsence...

No doubt wizz growing faster than others, also read that to mainland spain they are increasing capasity while ryanair and easy jet reducing.

Undervalued stock, euro to dollar is high and oil has been cheap so this is still keeping me invested at least until H1 results are announced.

On the negative side, consumer is weak and ticket prices are low as well weak bookings announced by multipple companies.

It is good to expect ukraine/russia war to end but it could also just as well expand, geopolitics are so unpredictable and are dragging SP down. If war expands to europe this airline is going to unseen lows and this risk needs to be accounted for.

I'd say we still need good news/ good results. At the moment we have depressing news of lower earnings from other airlines so this will drag wizz as well. Also generally autumn period is most depressing.

I am not selling, but I am not expecting any positive movement in share price. Hopefully as per Varandis interview we should see what this new deal with P&W will look like regarding engines. My expectation for this year is £16.5 max price.

Why cant they just purchase new engines and fix them to grounded planes? Over last 2 years they probably had another 40planes or so and this would have removed grounded planes + no depreciation

And the ones which are being fixed 520d or so they could fix them on new planes after all grounded are back to service.

Might be, also they exited and turned to other market during summer time (period when money is earned for the whole year) so H1 revenue might not be great due to this. On the positive side and I think market reaction proved this yesterday what wizz capasity was growing faster than ryanairs

RNS reported 11.4% Passenger increase year over year and emissions down 2.5% (more efficient on fuel). Also fuel cost supposed to be down.

Why costs are to increase 20%? Number of planes which are grounded are not going up so fixed cost on them and with new flying planes this cost goes up but it should be below extra revenue?

You can see how ryanair SP is hammered compared to wizz. Logical explanation is that Wizz grew faster than ryanair in terms of passenger and capacity growth.

In few words uk economy is f*cked. Nigel is coming to replace Stamer and he will finish the job

Also I think it is in CEOs interest to get higher wizz valuations as he wont be leaving until he gets that and if he saw no way forward he would have left long time ago

They might have interest to do it. Need few good RNS reports and sentiment is to come back.

Reducing debt and getting higher rating (January 2026)

Getting grounded planes back to service (hopefully we will start seeing this in 2026)

Ending Ukraine russia war (hopefully 2026 as well)

87.5mln seats per year with 15% increase will be 100mln seats. Getting close to easyjet and 50% of ryanair

What a mess P&W has caused... they need to speed up for sure. They should also give compensations until planes are in service. I just hope contractualy they are under pressure as 300day return was indicated and now looks like 500+ days. If not inder pressure they will just work at their own most efficient way with no care if airlines loose money.
