Oh dear ! Is this a wind up ?
I think the French will shaft us on both prospects..
Mr costs ,we'd have more chance of success with Dicky Mint and his fellow diddymen in charge than Dicky Marsden and his .That Brooke lass must have 30 mm of nail paint on her fingers and toes given her work responsibility. Same with all those other people who were employed without a specific job title .How many times can you wash directors cars , company windows ,empty paper baskets ( but God knows why they'd be full in the first place) and ofcourse , antifouling the bottom of Marsdens boat .
These lot will probably face a company appraisal at the end of the year ffs lol.ken Dodd is dead so he can't lead it .
News i want ( and have wanted it for over 8 months is Liz Marsden ( or is it Richard Truss ?)
out of the company .
Hard to believe polygon don't want that too.???
Quite hilarious really ,( well no it isnt) but there could be 100 new variants that are totally resistant to all the SOC available ( approved) at oresent but the gravy train will keep on rolling making big pharma richer and richer until "They" actually acknowledge that their products are not fit for purpose anymore ( covid)
Don't hold your breath .
In hindsight AZ should've bought the patents and the drug ,closed the company down ( not as if they're busy doing other stuff is it ? ) and then
Neil Woodford wouldn't have invested via his patient ( wait for a couple of years, not hospital admittance ) fund and then I wouldn't know any thing about synairgen
Damm you Woodford for allowing me to
Believe you actually were the real investment guru and not that pretender over at Berkshire hathaway. .
Woodford was mad abou oxford t nanapore too but he didn't lure me in
Also purple bricks and some memory matress company that I didn't bother with privately .
I did back synairgen though so I owe Woodford a slap .. Cant really fathom out how Neil must have sat opposite Marsden in a boardroom and surmised that RM was fit for purpose .
Suppose RM could say same about Woodford now .
Funny old world
I reckon his best mate Prince Andrew is putting him up to it .
Marsden does look on the ropes though. Think Katie's kidney punch of not being bothered to interview the clown has finished him off . Sincerely hope so .
Hope not ,the sp recovered late on .
Wouldn't surprise me if he phoned in sick .
Synairgen do have form for recruiting when not necessary, but I am sure they will find odd jobs to do around the place until / if/ when / maybe they will be needed..
After all ,its not them paying the salaries eh ?
What ? Buy the company easily for £300mil and save another £30 mil on the currency rate .Thats sounds ripe for a deal and bring it on .
Mr costs ,volume is low because most of us are stuck with these damm shares .If todays RNS had briefly stuck a quid on the SP .I'd have been out so there was 67600 of volume . Assuming of course anybody was daft enough to pay £1.24 on a piece of ancient news .
That was a splendid reply Gunton
Because that's not me however,he was the only one over there with his feet planted firmly on the ground .He has berated Marsden since day one and he's been proven right .Thats really difficult for you pretend scientists to take in ..
I have never been able to tolerate incompetence. Mistakes yes but down right incompetence no .
I suspect a few on here fall into the category of incompetant in their own chosen field .Qualled up to teeth but totally useless in application .You probably relate to Marsden and co as " They are trying to do their best " .You probably try as well
But..........!
The drug may be worth something ,the company isn't full stop ..
£50/ a share that costs.
You stand to make £50
Lol
I also thought the position had been filled but apparently they weren't prepared to clean toilets ,wash the excecs cars and do a turn as canteen lady until Synairgen could actually find them work to do in their own field ,unlike the other new recruits who are doing all above plus landscaping the gardens ,and sanding down and antifouling Marsdens boat .
Hes winding you all up ya dafties.
Jeez ,that AGM was a sham .Gorbals couldn't have organised a better PR ****fest . The highlight being a very old man shuffled in his chair when a question about long covid materialised.
Maybe he shuffled because he needed potty ..
FFS ! It was a sham kangaroo court but the main talking point could only be ...
Why are poly tolerating this , or are they on the verge of fist ******* the lot of us with some deal they have pre arranged .
It makes no sense why poly are so placid unless...
MC .you are bang on the money on all counts but why keep harping on and on .Yeh its true we cant just walk away and p!$$ thousands away like some of the balloons on here suggest ( like its what they'd do ).As it stands and as it has for the last few years .SNG001 has potential to succeed in the market .Unfortunately the management and to a great extent the scientists do not have the potential to succeed .Removing Marsden and Shaw ( why do we need a CEO and a chairman for a board of 10 ( again why so many? )who president over a company of 14 ?, may stimulate activity from big pharma but thats a maybe .
Big question that keeps hammering at me is why AZ are not back in the game ? They wrote off millions but there surely must have been contingencies to step back in should a different scenario than asthma presented itself .It did ( covid ) and they didn't and even at this hour they could quite easily offer £1.50 / share and own the drug for £300 million which is a give away ..
Who wouldn't sell now for £1.50 ?
