My point was that the CEO said over 3 weeks ago that the valve replacement would take a matter of days. He didn't learn of the valve issue the morning of the interview either so how long have they known the valve has been stuck? Quite some time I would imagine.

The valve and indeed Kiliwani Well is our only source of income. It has been unused for ~ 1 year. I would expect that it would have visual checks and some form of maintenance given it's importance. It seems pretty obvious to me that if you leave anything for a year it's not going to open right up smoothly first time that goes for anything mechanical which is exposed to the elements.

Who benefited most from the lack of remediation - well it certainly wasn't PI's was it ... and we continue to suffer.

Perforation is next quarter Drewky - we've not even started that.

This quarter is all about replacing a valve that became stuck in the off position because it's been sitting like that, disused, since the well was shut in after pressures fell below 1 mmcfd nearly a year ago in November 2017.

Sorry you're absolutely right cperkin, pressure issues have only been known for ~2 years I should be patient - after all it's not like they've had plenty of time to arrange this in advance. It sprung out of nowhere and completely took us all entirely by surprise.

So they've either replaced it gaslady and not told us or they've not replaced it yet and totally missed their own timescales (again). The couple of days was for the valve replacement - allowing time for faulty testing time and pressure gauging is all well and good but we're well over 3 weeks on now.

So if it's the former and they've replaced the valve you would think that informing long suffering investors via Twitter or some other medium that finally after 2 years of pressure issues at Kiliwani something was happening. If it's the latter then what's the hold up and why aren't they telling us via some sort of medium like Twitter?

It's not as if they're worried it would affect the share price any more since it's been entirely decimated since NT2. In fact Bhattacherjee is on record saying he is not concerned with day-to-day share price fluctuations.

I also disagree that the financial statements are "priced in" as Drewky says, I think that unless that news is balanced with something positive we will take a further hit.

You can be ruthless in business and it may make you money but you don't build relationships by being ruthless. One of our clients has had some environmental issues and had asked our BOD for some time to work them out. In return they'll pay us a non refundable deposit on future deliveries with a fixed timescale. Send to me that it BOD are being honourable, patient, discreet and understanding. I can't see the BOD being so accommodating that it damages our business but right now we are doing all the jobs we had scheduled. The shareprice has been suppressed but there could be many reasons for that, i don't think it can all be attributed to Cobre. Personally I'm accumulating as I can. Once we hear the latest from Cobre, Hans Camp and LCCM and add this to what we now know if Redmoor sub 2p will be a distant memory IMO. GLA

"All the fuss" was probably related to the $190 billion in revised taxes, interests, and fines from Tanzanian government. Sounds like that wouldn't worry you in the slightest Drewky? Although it's easy to be all knowing in hindsight isn't it? I would suggest that Acacia have been strongarmed into this position that you are highlighting as a supreme positive. I would imagine this development has been made under threat of further sanctions. Otherwise why wouldn't they have done this in the first place? Tanzanian has been an extremely difficult place to do business. Despite the "wonderful relationship" Aminex apparently has with TPDC and which Bhattacherjee is always harping on about it hasn't fast tracked a resolution to Kiliwani, our development license nor the regulatory environment attracted (seemingly) ANY other serious bidders for the 50% of Ruvuma we had to sell off for tuppence. Funny that.

We would have been able to drill CH1 on our own had KN1 still been operational with income coming in all this time; perhaps if had they perforated the mysterious additional zone that apparently everyone including CPR reports missed. Amazing.

Max I'm not sure if your post was directed at me however if so I would say this - I have 3 children under 6 y/o including a baby, I run my own business and I live in Scotland. Flying to another country for an AGM is, unfortunately, not as easy for me as it is for some.

At the time of the AGM we had no idea there would be a farm-out announcement - this was announced at the AGM. Understandably was the primary topic for the whole AGM (I am reliably informed).

Had this been announced in advance and we had time to evaluate the farmout details perhaps it would have allowed for specific questions on both the farm-out and the Kiliwani Remediation work which, incidentally, the cause of which (pressure loss) was being discussed at the previous to last AGM.

On the topic of corresponding with Aminex I do - have a look at most of their recent tweets and you will see I have replied. I have emailed them many times and unfortunately I can't provide feedback because my emails were never responded to - or even acknowledged for that matter. I have also called their office but apparently Bhattacherjee hasn't been available - at any time for any call.

If we have sufficient notice I intend to be at the EGM.

*sigh* Drewky you seem to take everything very personally even when it's not directed at you. You then attack, on a personal level, anyone who does not share your view. Nothing that is said here on this BB has a material affect on the share price.

This is a public forum and ideas and thoughts, concerns and aspirations should be shared freely without fear of judgement or attack - including you.

Your behaviour on here however at times is a little extreme. I appreciate some posters are bating you but perhaps you should take a step back and evaluate how your online persona here is affecting your day-to-day life - it's only an investment.

Ultimately the majority of people on here want Aminex to do well and for the share price to rise. I will be the first to admit that I am significantly under water at the moment and perhaps I am venting my frustration towards the person who is ultimately in control of our fate - Jay Bhattacherjee. We submitted the 25 year development license a whole year ago. Before then we had watched the sp rapidly decline as it became clear the NT2 well had been poorly managed and that NT3 was not going to be back-to-back as suggested.

All shareholders on here just want a return on their investment and I am sure I am not alone in being very frustrated by the glacial timescales.

Can I finally suggest that you don't reply to me, I'm not attacking you. Genuinely I am a little concerned you are taking on responsibility for fighting every battle when you are not responsible. You don't need to fight every fight and it's OK to admit if you are frustrated too. We're on the same team.

In that interview you posted BG from 29 Aug 2018 Bhattercherjee says the valve will be replaced in a matter of days (eh ... ok then) - around the 6:40 mark he mentions September for the EGM circular.

However this wasn't the first time we've been given the September date we've been talking about it on here for months and long before that video was posted. I suspect it was given verbally at the AGM - can anyone confirm?
