If (when) we are at 7.5p+ I won't begrudge him and the rest of the team their options...I'll be enjoying a little payday myself ;-)

Very excited to see us moving back to Blue Moon....I see this as the jewel in the Bailliston crown.Also looking forward to the end of the Oz summer (and not just because of the cricket humiliation) so we can get back to drilling soggy Creswick, including the new license area. More results to come in the next couple of weeks and some forward looking statements, so hopefully the recent upturn in momentum with the SP will continue.

Phew, I doubt if they were looking for those qualities. That email may save the company .

ECR to 3p

Legalwolf, I think anyone who has properly researched ECR and has ignored the BB's (everyone has an agenda here) can see the potential here on many fronts in the medium/long term.
I too have topped up on the recent decline in SP as this is an absolute bargain IMHO and think that these levels will be short lived.
I'm just gutted that I'm financially unable to match Colin on the level of top up (if only!)

I remember the SP going 8x the previous value on the Philippines resource estimate alone back in the day.
That was quickly quashed when the government basically blocked all foreign miners.
Now that the GOP 's attitude is changing this could be a major asset in the ECR portfolio and I think this has been massively underestimated/ not picked up.

So what new info do we need that everyone is so worried about. To me it seems that everything is in hand:

* Operationally : they are still following the plan which has been agreed over the coming months.
* Financially : nothing has changed
* CEO: I hope they will do due diligence and appoint a CEO that will drive the company forward to ensure long term value. Making a rash appointment after a couple of weeks just to keep a few vocal small shareholders happy in the short term is not a feasible option.

There is a lot of scaremongering going on "If they don't come out with something by week Friday it's game over" is just a BS statement with no facts to base it on (not shutting the sites down at 5pm next Friday).

The companies assets and potential have not changed. The infrastructure and plans for the foreseeable future have been put in place . This is a short term drop and one worth taking advantage of if you are looking to top up.

Seems like everyone has talked themselves in to a frenzy on here.
Nothing has actually changed over the last couple of weeks.
The BOD have stated that the drilling plan and other development plans over the next few months will remain as originally planned.
So no deviation from plan at this stage.

Creswick results showing any time of positivity will catapult this over 2p in the blink of an eye , and an update from the BOD on longer term plans will do the same...I'm perfectly happy for them to take another week or two to figure out the next moves/ start the search for a new CEO....the gold will still be there!

in the mean time I am happy to top up at these levels as I did this morning.

Armani, they could be bad, they could be good....no-one knows.
And anyone speculating is just guessing based on nothing (or has an agenda).

I think the dips today/yesterday were to encourage some selling to fill the 900k/1m share buys that quickly proceeded a return to the previous levels.
The current board will continue the current plan over the coming months (as per the RNS).
I do wonder if Craig knew what was coming as he put an old trusted colleague on the BOD (we were questioning why at the time) and the flurry of appointments, equipment purchases and land acquisitions.
I believe he was putting the pieces in place for the next year or two and ensuring that his legacy in the company was set and his baby was good to grow.

I think you are absolutely correct that a decent update showing stability in the company and a clear plan of action for the next 6 months/year while the search goes on for the new appointment will send this north quickly and beyond 2p is easily achievable in a day.

CS, The company have stated that the current drilling programme will continue as outlined.
Further statements I'm sure will be made in the coming weeks and the search for a new CEO will continue.
It's only 10 days since Craig's passing and I'm sure the board have taken some time to get over the shock and will want to take stock of ECRs current plans, consider the CresWick drilling results (when they finally arrive) and then confirm a plan of action.
I would rather they take a couple of weeks to assess and make good solid long term decisions rather than pander to impatient shareholders and make poor choices

Absolutely agree, the chances of the board and shareholders agreeing a takeover at this stage are extremely slim indeed.
ECR have not come this far to simply give the company away.
The next 6 months/year will be when the trus value of ECR starts to be realised IMHO as the understanding of the geology at both CresWick and Baillieston licenses are better understood and defined.
The company would be bonkers to agree a takeover before that is done.
The current SP is an unbelievable opportunity to get in here at ground floor levels...one I have taken advantage of.
The button for the higher floors is about to be pressed for the higher floors IMHO.

It doesn't have to be a big name (you only have to look at a number of clubs in the premier league to see a 'big name' manager does not always work), just someone who can broadly follow on with Craig's blueprint, but adding to it with their own ideas.
The flurry of activity in the last couple of months has set ECR up for the next phase in it's evolution.
Just need some decent results or mapping data from Creswick so we can pinpoint some of the resource and work towards starting to get some of it out f the ground..
I'm sure we will get an update from the board on the way forward in the next week or so Even if it's just a proceeding as originally planned, appointments announced when made holding RNS.

Very sad news. Craig always came across as very genuine and a nice guy.
He took ECR from the brink to a very well placed company.

My thoughts are with his friends and family .
