It was a bit daft of the IPO managers to list on a Friday! That's the worst day to list! No one would hold over the weekend!!!! It's a disasterous listing day! Monday or Tuesday would have been much much better! Damn! Anyway, raise a glass to LTHs!

Very innacurate. Trades are often listed after they happen, so you may have bought 200k at 21p at 0809, but if it's listed at 1047, it shows up as a sell. There are lots of these todays.

It's always useful to manage expectations - I think it's unlikely to hit 32p by 1pm!

Monday's going to be a better day anyway.

EQi's server is down this morning. I have to admit, after recommending them previously, I take it all back. The people who answer the phones don't really seem to understand how buying and selling works either.

We're entering safe, comfortable territory. Early profit takers out of the way. Steady rise up continues. Roll on next week!

Looking at the chart, it's going up - slowly and steadily. A trend and it's only 150 minutes into trading.

ERCFC - There are lots of small PIs here selling their IPO holding. That's keeping the price down this morning a little. MMs know this, so are trying their best also. But even Kanabo and MGC, first day of trading were around 15p on opening and around 2.7p on opening. Both, even after the 'dumps' are trading at twice those opening prices. (And before you all correct me on the opening prices, yes, it's a 'rough' opening price, removing the spike for KNB and only memory for MGC). The price will go up and down, but IPOs are designed to stoke up interest to make sure they are successful so the initial price always allows for a rise. That brings more interest etc.

Tog91 - Yep! They got burnt there. We're going to see a steadier rise here. That's why the data is all over the place here. They know there are lots of baby PIs here who panic panic panic. Tree shake after tree shake. Better rises to come later.

It's going to rise more. This is the first day of the listing. It's a good business with good products. The trick is to wait. Don't sell when the price is low. Sell when it is high. There are a lot of day traders here who bank their profit and go elsewhere. Some of them do well, but many lose the profit in another stock. I'm holding. I'm glad I got in early today. In fact, I'm glad I got in today rather than next Monday. That's when the hoardes will arrive.

And no one is going to sell you at 17p unless they were in on the IPO and desperate. This pretty much opened today at 20p. Which means virtually no one bought at less than 20p! So why would they sell at less than 20P, when they know it'll just go up?
