They have been very good with PR and RNS, next week I am sure we will get news that will enhance the share price - J Storey news possibly and I would certainly expect them to big up the auction - number of catalogues sent / requested, seats all pre booked and gone, phone lines, commission bids etc, etc. Whatever the bag sells for will/should set a firm base 'value' of it for future private buyers so it will go high 'by arrangement' - I remember Damian Hirst's gold scull with diamonds at auction: went for a crazy price and was bought - we all found out later - by a consortium led by Hirst......the price was 'set' and it ended up selling for more and more every time it went up for sale. All just my opinions obviously - but I am holding quite a lot for a decent payday, GLA.

I read an article yesterday showing Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian out shopping; lets hope they have seen the buzz around the bag and auction - can you imagine if someone of their level of fame and influence got involved - and maybe it isnt as far fetched as it might seem. Me too - the 2k was mine. I used to work in Hatton Garden for the high end Bond Street boys - Cartier, Tiffany, Spinks, Garrards are going to love this stuff.

I think I read a 'research' piece on London Stock Exchange site on BSF page the other day whilst looking at trades etc - I did a quick tot up of the holders which I think was about 69% - It didnt mention directors / insiders, and I cant remember when it was dated/calculated but have a look it might be useful (unlike me memory wise - but I have had 2 strokes and remembering is no longer my forte!!). Hi Laura - I also wanted to ascertain if this is R.Griffiths first foray into SPI - according to several interpretations of the question asked to AI it is. No mention on any RNS or other official public records prior. Looking good to me.

Hi Dartron - I agree with all your points except one - I personally think this will all culminate quite soon/ week(s) rather than months. I also 'studied' the recent daily accumulation of news releases, and read them in conjunction with the UK takeover code. One day soon I think they will stop announcing the musical chairs of share allocations and the big RNS will land. Just my view obviously, but an interesting situation.

I understand the percentage level etc on short tracker but down, again, marginally today. Sickening , to me, to see ezj and iag relatively 'flying' today as we too should be. Anyways, lets see what they choose to value us at tomorrow....a fly on the wall view would be great eh.....probably already know the opening and closing prices for the next week.

Still a very high figure for Wizz - usually 1 or 2 Million £ - so maybe something going on. Certainly a big, quick jump at the end - allthough it didnt increase right into the close and no RNS - also shorts decreased by a very small amount. More unexplainable shenanigans tomorrow I would guess.

I thought/hoped the recent 'increase' would be accompanied by shorts exiting - on Short Tracker, todays updates have now taken us to the leaderboard, 5th of top 5. They are relentless and seemingly have practically unlimited firepower esp when they hunt in packs- makes me sick; level playing field my ar$e.

Shorts are 5.23 including todays latest increase by the parasitical ba$tard$.

To buy now at barclays. If you have the bread to buy, Bird will supply the jam (tomorrow.......) Why would anyone buy the placing to finance the company when you will be able to buy on the market cheaper. 2.50 currently to sell.

I was onto them prior to opening: " we were unaware of the consolidation/we cant say if it will be fixed today/its not easy like just flicking a switch" were the highlights. Like you, I have no wish to sell at the moment, but with world events at the moment its appalling that I have 64k that I have absolutely no power to get at if any given situation arises. Will be leaving Barclays, after 20 years, asap.

Pathetic as usual. As i said hours ago: "we are working through this as fast as we can" - mine is still Suspended as of 2 mins ago. Shameful.
