Anyone have experience of IAG Ex divi dates ? Was 5 weeks between declaration and record dates last year , any thoughts ?

I think £4 will be a major selling point, will be interesting to see if it reaches £4 before going Ex Div, something to ponder !!

29 July 24 (approx 6 months ago) SP was sat at £1.67, we would have bitten the hand of anyone giving us £2. Here we are at £3.23 and loving it, and enjoying the glow. Think positive people, still some way to go, but not too much further me thinks . Next question will be "is it worth holding for the Dividend when the Spanish government withhold 19%" Replies on a post card pls

Don't believe anything the Motley Fool publishes, all last year they are advising against buying IAG. They are reckless with heir advice and should be banned !!

Gotta be worth topping up today on the back of two more positive broker recommendations !!

Worth bearing in mind that any dividend paid is reduced by 19% Spanish tax, which makes this less attractive as a dividend share

Indeed, add that to the 19% deduction on dividends and it suddenly reduces the attraction a little of this share

I’m sure Halifax can 😀
