I think it's just very verydifficult assessing the risk profile for FDA folks. Re- assessing the in vivo mutagenic potential of drug that has pre-existing information that there is a mutagenic risk e.g. in silico structural alerts, bacterial mutation (Ames test) positive data. The transgenic mutation assays use rodents engineered with genomically integrated lambda bacteriophage shuttle vectors, which have repressor protein sequences preventing infectious phage formation in certain conditions once extracted from the animal tissue DNA. Mutagenic test chemicals can induce mutation in the repressor protein sequence, which can be selected for using temperature selection conditions following DNA extraction, packaging into bacteriophage & E. coli infection, and growth on agar plates. From these the frequency of mutation can be determined and the risk in vivo and therefore to humans can be assessed.
Not for useful discussion however in the arena here :-) I don't know enough though. Tonnes of data out there on Molnupiravir.

Totally agree. Very focussed P3 design, Buzz et al have conducted themselves and management of trial impeccably. I can only envisage massively positive, statistically significant outcome. The end is nigh :-)

Just sold All MY gdr AND decided this is going to be over 50p very quickly. Ignore my blatant ramp and conduct own research.

I was in pain when GDR were down to 17.5p but averaged 22p.

ODX is going up, just patience required. GLA
