Uin, some good posts and I stand by what I said yesterday, there is now more certainty that PB and PW will develop into production projects and as mad as this deal looks from this side of the fence, JP as a sponsor in Canada is a very shrewd move, I would much rather own 30% of a producing asset, than 100% of a concept! but we see a typical Aim reaction with the usual amount of derision, The Jangada board and their network actually own nearly circa 70%, they will not be pissing that into the wind!,...GL S.

jc, the mkt cap made very little sense 24 hours ago at circa £5m and at that point there was understandable expectations that a transformational BFS was within reach, But from here I would suggest we need to fully understand the granular details before reaching judgement, The structure of the deal is a surprise considering recent comm’s, but the part divesting of PB and the Canadian listing is not, some times these deals are more about what is under the surface, rather than what we are able to see and despite the current and in some part understandable frustration and anger in the comments that are in circulation today, my belief in the underlying potential remains and in all probability, today’s events are now more likely to ensure that PB and Ptombeiras West value and potential is achieved and we now also have a third share, in what appears to be a significant uranium asset, which has had circa £50m invested, so for £3m we have a third of PB, cash in the bank to progress Ptombeiras West and a third share (pre dilution) of a significant set of uranium assets, details and articulate comm’s are now the necessity,..GL S

Aw, agreed and I do sense we are on the cusp of new developments, some of the malaise is probably a combination of a few factors, previous mishaps have caused some angst with shareholders, a number of commentators stating the bleeding obvious regarding Jangada needing funds to progress the asset, lack of wider investment community interest, albeit I am sure the board are addressing this and we should not loose site of the fact that the asset is of global significance, especially when you compare Pedra Brands and Ptombeiras West against their peer group, it is of significant stature in comparison and with the BFS being imminent, it does put the company in a very strong position to develop JV, partners, royalty and streaming, I would also expect that London will not be the only city interested post BFS, plus some liquidity and buying interest would not go a miss and with a free float of less than 20%, it could be quite explosive if interest does pick up at any point soon,....GL S

I would expect BHC to issue an update shortly, the following was their thoughts from April and the importance of today’s news,...GL S

“These last two parts of the BFS are particularly important. BHC is expecting the metallurgical test work to show significant upside to the project and the legal, environmental and social factors are extremely important. Without a positive social charter, projects are very difficult to progress.”

Excellent news and what was clear in the recent ratification of the Mining Master Plan for Fortaleza region and Ceará state, the Jangada team are fully aligned on the ground and the jurisdiction in Brazil, which any observers and participants of the resource sector will understand what a significant milestone this is, will the London Aim market finally recognise this is real deal and the Jangada team deliver,....GL S

Agreed, I also thought the companies message via twitter yesterday was interesting, regarding HM’s numerous trips to Brazil recently and the subsequent follow up to reference the Vanadium data review was equally intriguing, Jangada is clearly a lot more than PGM and with them making it very clear JV and partnerships are very much being sought for the Vanadium asset at Ptombeiras West, perhaps prospective partners are undertaking their due diligence, there is a lot of appetite for the assets trans Atlantic, so we may not just see the BFS, perhaps another welcome update is incoming?,..,....GL S

Very good to note that the Mining Master Plan has now been fully ratified for the Fortaleza region and Ceará state, as announced on ANM Brazil in recent days, this should bode well for Jangada and others that are operating and developing mining assets in Pedra Branca, it will also hopefully feed through to accelerated licensing, albeit in typical AiM style it will no doubt go unnoticed,...GL S

Just to add some numerical dynamics to the Rhodium thoughts, a rule of thumb at present gives us circa $90 per g and it looks like Rhodium often represents 10% of the other PGM grades and even if 0.1g/t might not sound much but at 2.2m tonnes per annum it’s just under an additional $20m revenue for free! Maybe an extra 25% post tax on the IRR and a huge boost to the NPV, now that’s what I would describe a “Optimisation” - As noted by BM on a number of occasions, all the information is out there with the mkt, people just need to spend some time making the connections,....GL S

A slightly different angle of PR for Jangada, as in it is good to note Palladium is recovering strongly from it’s recent lull and is now circa 45% above the PEA economics and taking into account its dominance in the element basket for Pedra Branca that should bode well for the BFS and just thinking back to my meeting with HM at the UK investor show and his reference to the optimisation of the metallurgy works, I just wonder if our announcement yesterday could potentially link in to that work and what we will see is the long awaited introduction of Rhodium in the Pedra Branca economic model, which we know from historical geological data is in abundance, albeit not previously reported by Anglo, although it is clearly within the earlier Jangada comm’s, now that’s the PR that may just add a positive contribution?,....GL S

BG, I think it is fair to say, whatever technical services work has been undertaken, for the contractor to request equity, or indeed be content to receive equity in lieu of cash, has to be taken as a positive in my opinion, they could potentially have an inside track on key elements associated with the BFS and as a consequence considered an equity position far more financially beneficial, which is not too dissimilar to Consulmet, who agreed as part of the £2.1m funding package to receive circa £350k in equity, as in 10.363m shares and that is the team who are principally responsible for completing the technical element of the BFS, despite the negativity in some quarters, I would suggest a common sense view should be positive,....GL S
