does not hold up.... sinks back to 222p, and today lower, was only just making 232 an i thought, c'mon, another 3p+ and i'll be happy..... days of one drop after another. gut feeling is last day tomorrow and recoup losses playing shares elsewhere.
been a waste of 6 weeks tbh.
nice though if people have traded this from lows back to 232 days then out and back etc,
well done there if you have.

Price moving in right direction after this mornings little wobble....
tbh i thought we were going back towards the 222 area.....
235 for me is where i'll be happy, then towards 240 is a bonus.

Start the day on 222p, with an immediate 4p+ to make up just to get level on yesterday...... this share is up and down up and down..... 222 to 234 and back...... results??? good??? where's the results in the SP???? barely touching 227p

Looks like on the Chart for today, trading stopped at about 15:30 till C.O.B.
Fingers crossed this races to a huge early start.
Glad i am already in, as generally i would have looked to buy in near close of play, so would have missed it......
thoughts on tomorrow? speculation?

Doesn't hold any gains well either.
i had hoped that from the 5p rise we had on the VAT news, we might at least stay there till news on Friday.
my hunch was to sell at the close on Monday, but i wanted to stick with it, as i had hoped for a trickle upwards as the week went on. BUT no, for a second time, Tesco drops, back towards the 226p area......
so now, i know i should have sold Monday "on good news" and then waited to buy back in at a lower price for more shares.
so in all, it's all hope and hindsight, either of which i have none lol

If there are hunches and news/leaks that Tesco results are going to be great for Friday, i hope the rise continues through the week as people start to take their positions hoping for a good rise Friday on delivery of the news.

It's poor tbh, not even 1p rise to finish the week.
2 more weeks of this then i'm out.
have been patient for 4 weeks..... 235 would have been nice.

this morning Tesco could not even manage to hold onto a 3p rise..... so far and it's still early.....
so 1p per day from now till next Thursday is fine as long as it's blue days, slow steady climb, then results day, boom - UPwards please.

Having mentioned wine at Tesco, i noticed at the weekend, they are using wine in an M&S style dine for £10 range, starter, main, side and drink (3 choices of wines, coke bottles or peroni bottles) so to me as a customer was a no brainer to get a £7 bottle of wine with a starter, main and cheese cake for an extra £3.... result. Good value like that could help the store so wine offer not on. BUT i do get what you are saying that the 25% off when you buy 6 bottles is great for the customer.

always some winners and then some who wanted to win but are suddenly in for either a loss, or a long wait....
like those who bought near 130-132 and now pray for it to rtn there as they had hoped for 140......

tbh, if i was more knowledgeable, and on the ball - having to work full time is not great for keeping an eye on prices throughout the day - i could have dumped Tesco at a £2K loss, bought Barclays twice today and made £4k plus, then rebought Tesco and had approx 2000 more shares than i did yesterday.....!!!!
Tesco still flagging and dragging since Divi Date an 20th....

i would say, if your Tesco shares are with a firm via Tesco, as purchasing monthly etc, be careful of when you want to sell.
i have had shares in my BBY shareportal and when i wanted to sell them (tax free as over 5 years held) they took an absolute age. Price dropped from 248p to 223p when i got the sale order document in the post. i emailed them... we will respond in two days reply... then got told, please provide the following details in pdf format to the address or email provided. blah blah..... then nothing. checked account, shares gone from total, no email, no letter, i email them... we will respond in two days etc, they tell me, some story about, were sold 9 days ago and cheque was sent on...... then 3 days later cheque arrives..... took about 2 weeks, and i saw price sold was 223p...... in the time they had sold them to getting cheque, had gone back up to over 250!!!!!!!! so be mindful, in case its a slow process...

Agreed, i use Barclays, £6, £1 levy, cannot complain,
that with Trading 212 app, to be just 20-30 seconds behind real time share pricing too,
works fine in unison.
saves keep logging into Barclays every ten mins...
just log in when prices are where you want them to be to chose to buy and sell.

I’ll take a look when this hits 5 for 1p... worth a punt with £1k then.
I feel for people tied in at a loss.
Been there, long recovery.

hit 222p twice...... like a volitile day trading share currently, IMO
