Li is on the US strategic critical elements list, and they know how far behind China they are regards Li. I would almost go so far to say that the US will not let let this pass to China.

US wise, theres political disquiet about letting more Li assets pass to Chinese control.

Similar with Nickel. Its good for the price to rise, to a point. Don't kill the goose. If it becomes too high other technologies and constituents enter the fray. Don't get me wrong I believe we're in a good place, currently Li is very hard to substitute, but its a principle worth understanding.

If I recall he had this a v strong buy at 30ish few months back. Even with IC you need to tread weary nothing guaranteed in this game

Being very honest, if/when the time comes, I've got a substantial holding and relatively lo average family across JISAs and ISAs, I'd take 90p and thats me out, knowing when to exit is a key skill that I haven't always got right, an affirmative exit strategy is something I've improved on. I sat here from 15 to 47 and back to 7. Lessons learned, I think one has to go through it to have it 'seared' into the consciousness
