Falklands is not always right he used to do a lot of posting on nex board.Kept telling us to sell and that it was nearly always going down and the price was always to high just a couple of months ago.He said he sold out a couple of months ago at about 140.It is now 240.so glad I stayed with Nex.P.s I am invested with Lloyds also.Atb and stay safe

My opinion is yes since markets are always forward thinking and pricing in future prices.With vaccines rollout and the belief of some sort of normalcy returning but still a few hard months ahead with the sheer number COVID patients.The government were as always to slow acting.Atb and stay safe.

The COVID-19 vaccine being developed by AstraZeneca could receive an emergency use authorization from UK regulators on Monday or Tuesday and roll out to UK citizens in the first week of 2021.This type of vaccine is the real game changer because it is cheap,easily transported in a refrigerator and can be mass produced more quickly.It will make a huge difference especially for the third world.Atb

Dividends were supposed to restart in 2021 .Anyone have any more information on this or will we have to wait for the next AGM.Atb

BP is looking at investing 60% of its profits into share buy backs over next 10 years which will push up share price since there will be fewer shares available to trade.Renewable investment over this time will also increase x10 so moving into niche market area.Also a nice 6.7% dividend yield and an estimated 50 dollar price for oil.Looking positive moving forward.Atb

Very positive and upbeat trading statement when considering what’s going on in the world.I did top splice yesterday but only because I was getting over exposed in nex.Plenty of upside in this company and those were pretty solid results.Atb

Some very promising news coming out concerning Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine.Could the pendulum be turning and signs of life gradually returning to normal.The doctors,nurses,front line staff ,most vulnerable and elderly would be first to get it.Great news and maybe a boost for nex too.atb

I have invested long term with nex because I believe the best gains will be seen when some normalcy returns.I would however like to diversify to either stagecoach,go ahead or first group.Any opinions which one would make the better investment and why.atb

Interest rates are going to be very low for a long time and with Brexit this will be very negative for Lloyds.Whereas an imminent covid vaccine in the future will be very positive and a catalyst for nex in the future.

RBC Reaffirms buy at £2.70.Shame the shorters are starting to have a go.However company is well insulated until end of 2021 with available cash.Oxford and the Moderna have vaccines coming out after stage 3 trials end of year.There is a failure rate of 35%.Two trials so drops down to 17.5%Plus there are many other candidates.This is a waiting game and fundamentals have not changed.Atb

Hi Phoenix.With the S&G and YLF claim coming to a head in the coming months depending on SFO outcome do you expect certain conditions being put on the sale in Dec.These cases take time and unless an agreement is reached it could affect sale unless an amount is is set aside for possible scenarios.Opinions welcome.Atb
