Agreed, I'm happy with a slow steady rise as most of this is in my SIPP and I won't be retiring for a few years yet. If we can slowly get back over 30p without crashing back down to 18p I'm happy.

Yep, things are looking promising now.

Got hit hard with the crash in Metro which really made me look at what was left, rebalanced my portfolio and have some really good stocks I got at a good rate. Ironically, I will probably end up much better then before the crash.

EUA is looking good as is AA, Saga also good for a longer term hold.

Makes a change to be on the other side of it for a change instead of getting shafted.

I originally got in here late March when it was 40p then sold at 88p which was good, invested again and then took up to offering and intend to hold for a while.

This business appears to have a strong future once the economy gets back on its feet, lots of government contracts around and they’ve been awarded a few

Agreed JT, will be happy if we get to 50p.

After that anything is a bonus, providing good recovery of economy and they keep on top of the debt we may see a £1 in a year or two. Will happily wait for that as that’s a 4x return

Just to add, I sold my existing shares yesterday for 75p after I was allocated the shares at the reduced rate.

Think I’ve been quite lucky, I requested 20k shares which were apparently granted and the money has been taken. My initial allotment were 5834 but I thought I would try my luck to request more.

Fingers crossed it shows tomorrow as the funds were taken and showing in HL

I will never forget that meeting, it was really cringey listening to an Exec from the Dallas wasting most of the meeting talking about RR cars.... I've only had a few meetings where I want to crawl under the desk and hide.

Not sure if the luaghing comment was aimed at my story, I still deal with RR as does the complany I work for, the exec in question doesn't work for us anymore...

I can tell you a similar story related to someone confusing Rolls Royce Cars with Rolls Royce engineering.

We went to see the RR a few years back with the CEO of my company (large org), being a bit of a brash American he said when he got there he wants to buy one of their cars, this is despite us briefing him they were not related anymore , combined with his general personality they told him never to come back again...

Profit taking, the usual really.

I’m in this for the longer term recovery

Been sat on this for weeks with around 150k shares and yesterday it went up slowly, today it’s a rocket.

Anyone know what’s behind this spike? Haven’t seen any T/O rumours but always thought this was a good slow recovery play. Either that or people are realising there is more to Saga then cruises

Amazing day, had a blinder on AML also.

What’s going on here? Is there news of an acquisition or something as this has been caught at the 16 - 17p range for weeks.

Maybe they’ve heard news on allowing cruises to resume shortly

Saga has been kind to me over the last year, slow burner but fingers crossed she will get back to 35p in the next 12 months

Strange, I thought Dan May have had some words and been dialled in

Problem McLaren have is they have to many models that are too similar and residuals are really bad, 720s almost halves in value after 1 - 2 years (check auto trader).

I'm a big F1 fan and Mclaren and would love them to do well, if you look at AML they have SUV's now, GTs so they are a bit broader in scope. Time will tell of course.

Crazy price drop, if this get back to the 30s I’m buying again, sold earlier at 47p to take some profit to make up some of my earlier losses

Agreed, this is standard practise to retain and attract the relevant talent, all which should hopefully help the cover recover in the longer term

Agreed, going to me an interesting day.

Metro hardly moved but my others shares i.e. AML, RR and Saga plus others are having a great day.

May see how the day goes and take profit at the end and wait to see what happens again.
