Agreed, I think for some reason they are holding of TR-1s as long as the limit allows for some reason, despite being given Robbie's (April 13th I think )and Frank's shares (Feb) they only declared holdings over 3% last week or the week before

The other good news is it looks like MillEnd maybe gone, I suspect from monitoring L2 and volume over the last couple of months since they were handed Robbie's shares they are done.

Today would have been an opportunity to offload a nice amount of shares if they still had them

That's the nature of the market and how it works, ultimately if you researched GCAT and you understand the value / current challenges you should be comfortable with the risk and potential to make money back and see decent returns in the future .

Once again , the new man tightening governance and managing risk, either that or all the gold has been stolen

That would be quite the RNS, we were on course for 24k/oz a year with 2k/oz this month, unfortunately someone stole 1500/oz of it as I kept putting every time I was smelting on Twitter.

Those who want to remain in will, those who want out have sold and then there are traders looking for a quick 10% . Typically the ones that appear when there is news, hype / deramp it up and then disappear.

I'm getting on with life, enjoying work and the sunshine .

The new chair also appears to be getting on with what he was employed for, time will tell

They also need to go through revisions if required, combined with the apparent shortage of staff at the FCA this adds up.

It will come when it's ready , more then likely by the end of June I suspect

I reckon this is the case with the funders, put your own people in on board seats to make sure the right decisions are being made and you can accurately report back.

Surely getting rid of dead wood and overpaid salaries that don't appear to have delivered is part of the Corporate governance, this in addition to all the other things mentioned .

Guess we will find out, I just hope they are actually getting this high grade ore out the ground

In the 18 months I've been in GCAT, our fortunes have reduced massively due to a combination of incompetence and also some mis-fortune, was it these people advising which led to these mistakes? They certainly haven't put the wind in our sails, thats for sure.

I see this as removing the dead wood.

Also, could our prospective funding partner be looking to place their own people on the board, usually this happens when they want to steer a company or maybe look at a takeover longer term.

Agreed, I think MillEnd have sold all their shares or most.

Volume is tiny and it will sit here until we get the relevant news i.e. finance, prospectus and q2 results . All aligning this should recover nicely

Fingers crossed this month / early next month we get the finance update and we are clear on next steps

My suspicions on the finance is they need to either pay off ME as new funder doesn't want their money used to finance someone else bad debt , this also proves they have the production capacity , expertise to make investment worthwhile.

New funds are then used on capital projects i.e. expansion, Tanzania and exploration

Surely they must be out by now as on the days and periods afterwards there were some very high volume shares, amazed me that the threshold was crossed on April 19th as we know when they were given Robbie's shares to only getting the RNS now.

Must be out by now though and maybe just house keeping/governance getting ready for other announcements
