CW Your 'Final call' for an SP target at £ 1.15 is only a whisker away, I am no doubt this is achievable in the very short term, as the SP closed on the week high with an additional 40% above the daily volume of shares accumulated. (Maybe some shorts are getting squeezed) From a chart / technical point of view, a close above £ 1.20 on a weekly price chart maybe could indicate a possible 'take-off' to above the recent turbulent trading range between 0.85-1.15 (Note the potential double bottom formation Jan/July Low ) IMO Only

Analyst consensus average price target is £ 1.165

pipedreamer - I think it's just summer chop/noise i.e anything inside the £15-18 range with less volume in play however should the precious metals markets get going again incl Silver & Copper then Poly will fly past the £20 mark sooner than you can put down your favorite book.
From a TA point of view, I like the quarterly bars being above the 200 SMA and also paying a smashing dividend to wait on the next assault on $2k for the price on Gold however having said that, gold has a temper like a red-headed Scott so be warned and on your guard for any sudden pullbacks;-)

13martyn13 . Yes expect increased SP volatility when it approaches the ATH @ or near 86p mark could really start to fly if it manages in passing through the 90 marks without a decent pull-back then ''Keep the pedal to the metal'' IMO

moniman > Fully agree a very interesting article basically 'UK PLC'S are on sale however I do think it misses one key ingredient for why so many foreigners (Capital) are circling well established UK PLC as taking over targets apart from low valuations in comparison to USA/Canadian ETC listed companies which are the expectations that the Pound is going to strengthen strongly following Brexit this gives them a double safety net (Valuation & Currency Appreciation) in their favour.

moniman - They (Americans) are getting a bargain the whole UK market is at a 50% discount compared with SP500 so make more sense for them to spend and shop on the UK market

eccles04 'Need to get back to basics folks. 1. Morrisons will still be there and a tad unpredictable. (Their selling price takeaway setting the tone for the sector going forward) 2. Profits for the last few years have not been spectacular. (Considering BREXIT and PANDEMIC they have outperformed the market)3. Discounters are building more shops. 4.Yield is acceptable but not great (+4 % is splendid) 5. Some people let their imaginations run away with them. (The sum of the numbers speak for themself)
