There are many paradoxes in this debate and one is that I'm not allowed to call people liars Treetop but you are....is that because the people I call liars are decent people and the people you call liars are not?

Treetop...Either something is a lie or it is not. Opinions are a bit different, they're have an emotive content and we are all sometimes confused, ignorant and stupid. Take the slogans for instance, Project Fear (lifted by Boris Johnson from the Scottish Independence Referendum) suggests to the ignorant/stupid/confused that the other party is suggesting that there is something to be afraid about and if you're not a fearful sort of person then you should be on their side. And Let's get our Country Back and Let's get Control of our Country Back...suggests that we have lost control of our country,which I am strongly in contention with. Those slogans are not proper debate, with proper facts about proper issues. I'm sure the EU is not perfect, but it is an on going peace project and my belief and experience is that we have prospered in it.

JT We do have plans for drilling this year I think...on K2 and Parkijaure, if we get our licences back.

Yes, exactly, there's the conundrum...the people we expect to be informed wanted a remain vote and had 100% confidence in getting that result: they failed miserably in presenting an informed debate and underestimated the power of fear, confusion, ignorance and stupidity.

I think government by referendum is terrifying and confusing...how big does the majority have to be to instruct the government (that should have been decided beforehand) and how many voters three years on are dead or newly eligible to vote, which makes the playing field different? And democracy in it's most classical sense depends on an informed debate and there definitely wasn't one of those. What about the lies...were they not fear and confusion? And if it was 'democracy' to ask the people then, why isn't it democracy to ask them again now?

Ibjj But I would argue hopefully in a civilised and friendly way that the edifice of fear and confusion was erected by the Brexiters...for example I think the laws are made be Us not Them.

Don't get me started on that...I might do a bit of stop brexiting myself tomorrow.

Now we're on the straight track.... with no obstacles to be seen anywhere about...except when is summer? Astronomical summer or meteorological summer or Cornish summer. I'm going for Cornish summer..1 May 19.

Mr Damberg did make a statement (sort of) I think at a press interview so off the cuff....early in 2015 that the Kallak decision would be made before the summer recess...which gave rise to the long standing joke about the holidays being the pivot about which everything revolves. They obviously decided then not to decide...but that doesn't mean they never will decide, which is an absurd thing to say.

I remember the days when you first bought in Ibjj , you used to boast continually of having a very low average, 15p of which I was most envious, my first buy was at 22p. Never mind, it takes all sorts to make a world, I'm just different from you and I don't understand your crusade here, I suppose that's what it is, a crusade...but it keeps us amused while we wait.

My own feelings are that we've done brilliantly...feel as though I've been carrying those drill cores myself but I'm proud of the company and the 61% Swedish shareholders. GLA
