As I remember it it that flash crash was fuelled by a report from the CAB Business Deparment, which was published before the final decision against the application was made by the CAB....and which found that the economic case between reindeer herding and mining weighed in their view in favour of the mine.
That report owed nothing to conjecture, rumour or wishful thinking...it was a fact then and it is a fact now as is the fact that in the first instance of the CAB giving their opinion they found in favour of it. What happened inbetween was a collusion to register an ANI for reindeer herding. But we all know and the rules state that there can be more than one ANI.
