Better press than we usually get:
The industry needs new Swedish mines
LEADERS. That mining was one of Sweden's basic industries was learned in school. Similarly, the iron ore, decades after decades, has made Sweden rich. So how many mines are there in Sweden? Sixteen pieces.

Sweden's active mines are mostly old, and some of them are really big like the Kiruna mine. But they are not very numerous and only a few have been put into operation during the last ten-year period.
In recent days, Di reports that the permit cases for an iron ore mine in Kallak in Lapland (Beowulf Mining), the expansion of the copper mine in Aitik in Lapland (Boliden BOL + 0.38%) and a copper mine in Laver in Norrbotten (Boliden). These are big mines, and the permitting process for the three is in different phases. Two of them, Laver and Kallak, are with the government for decisions, and there they have been for several years.
At the same time, all of LKAB's operations in Kiruna will receive a new permit from the Land and Environmental Court.
Last week, Mikael Staffas and Jan Moström, CEO of Boliden and LKAB, held a meeting with Business Minister Ibrahim Baylan. What they demand is efficient and legally secure processes, according to Jan Moström.

Latexperience affects many sectors. Generally speaking, many jobs stand both in the build-up phase and when there is full production. More specifically, it is also about industrial companies such as Atlas Copco, ABB, Sandvik, AB Volvo and Epiroc as well as consulting companies such as ÅF Pöyry and Sweco.
These have the whole world as a field of work, but the value of a working Swedish mining cluster for those companies cannot be overestimated.
There is a crack in the government in the view of mines. The environmental party is skeptical of new mines, which was most recently manifested at the party's congress and through statements from the Per Bolund language pipeline. And a few years ago, the representative was Gustav Fridolin in Jokkmokk to campaign against the Kallak mine.
The Social Democrats are traditionally positive to the development of Swedish mining.
In Tuesday's Di, the environmental party's spokesperson for the Environment Party, Amanda Palmstierna, says: “The Ministry of Industry probably sees the attitude of the Environment Party, but the government should consider the matter according to the law. There are two completely different bags. ”This statement is
