The lows we've seen in recent years have been used by the opposition as an argument against us; so while we're not in a position to reap the benefits it strengthens the argument on our side that the cycle recovers and the demand remains high for all sorts of reasons.

Yes...and the Government have admitted that it has taken too long, which with the UNESCO bid could see this wrapped up in the not too distant future. There, I'm being wishful again. ;-)

It isn't nothing...that's where you're wrong, it's days accomplished. Like the KU Report...something that has been sorted out and can be referred to as the facts of the case. We're invited into Sweden to do mining exploration and goodwill and good faith are an essential part of that commitment (imo) and that means taking part to the best of our ability in the Process, which if you recall is nearly 10 years down the road, taking into account the time and money spent drilling, years accomplished.

Eric...Much of the criticism against the Government in the political arena has been on the lack of transparency and I don't know the answer to your query about the ANI/Application; seems its either or/both and. Yes, LKAB is the natural owner and we'd all be delighted to see them make a start...but the Concession has to come first and that should rightly be awarded to Beowulf.

Oaktree...I agree with a lot of what you say ...the problem is that there is no process and neither is there any legal certainty which I presume why Kurt isn't been quick to pursue that path. Only my opinion of course and I've never spoken with him about it. Maria Suner Fleming has also said that there isn't any legal certainly...meaning I suppose that the Government can interpret the ANI however they like. I'm also up to my neck in it and I have good days and bad. Thanks for your comments I appreciate it.

I remember a quote to a journalist when Northland got into difficulties...why should we buy it when we only have to wait for it go bankrupt and we'll get it for nothing. Kaunis now and doing very well I think.

The way I see it we're nine years into this permitting process which is nine years 'accomplished'...getting the permit is always the biggest risk in a mining project and I don't see the point of giving up now when we've done all the work. If there was a good reason to say no they could have said it a long time ago.
