Here's a cut and paste:
"to Minister of Trade and Industry Ibrahim Baylan (S)
When the Canadian Fraser Institute presented its annual benchmark index for the mining industry, the result could almost be described as global mistrust of Sweden as a mining nation.
In the index, Sweden plummeted from the top ten (2016) down to place 36 where we are behind countries such as Mali and Ghana. At the same time, one of the greatest transformations of society of our time is taking place with a focus on fossil freedom and sustainability. The new technology is dependent on the metals and soil minerals found in the Swedish bedrock, among other places.
However, the government has not been able to deliver on the mining issues, something that became apparent when KU ticked the Minister of Trade and Industry for the handling of, among other things, the applications received for mining operations in Kallak and Laver for late handling.
The government also announced the mine in Laver the day before Christmas Eve, and so far Kallak has not received any information.
The government has, however, referred to the fact that Unesco needed to comment on the nearby Laponia World Heritage Site, which has now been received. Based on the opinion from Unesco, it can be stated that a possible mine in Kallak will not threaten the world heritage.
It has been almost four years since the decisions on Kallak landed on the government's table, but so far nothing has happened. It is this kind of lateness that has caused us to lose so much in reputation as mining.
In view of this, I would like to ask Minister of Trade and Industry Ibrahim Baylan:
Is it the Minister's intention to now leave a message regarding Kallak?"
The lady can be a bit difficult to manage. Lol
