Well that did the trick.A lot of investors bailing out this afternoon,am I surprised er NO! Yet more scoping studies/feasibility studies when will it end? Report doe's not instill any confidence, suspect sellers have cut & run in order to minimise their losses.
No RNS,nothing from QME,Gordon Bowen will be jumping for joy seeing this as confirmation of his long held belief that Nuclear Waste is buried in Parys.QME have had to pull out on discovering him to be correct.Mind you after decades of inactivity at Parys I could almost be persuaded myself to believe him.But I still live in hope that one day our ship will come in and this time next year some of us may well be millionaires ,if only.
That's old news,I looked months ago and that's all QME are owning up to "supplying machinery" as you point out they don't list any involvement with AYM other than that.So whats occuring, well we have their long awaited report at the end of the month which could have a positive effect on the SP.Figures of 7p-10p have been mentioned me thinks the rise will be in proportion to the level of commitment on QME's part and of course their cheque book.As a long term holder of AYM I need 6p to break even having bought above that figure and then topped up at around 2p-2.5p therefore averaging down.Haven't ordered the new wheels yet but if and in my opinion at this point it's a big if the SP does reach 10p then happy days.
As far as I'm aware the technology exists that would prevent a hard border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland but this has not been mentioned in any of the negotiations? would that in your view help the situation? For what it's worth I voted to leave and as far as I'm concerned Mrs May has made a right b---s up and is clearly out of her depth which the EU have taken advantage of.
I made the same point two weeks ago.Existing mines even if mothballed could be up and running whilst QME are still looking at Parys. So any surge in zinc price is irrelevant at this point in time.I do conceded that higher prices make Parys a more viable proposition, but how many times do you need to look at the same thing, Parys Mountain as I've said in the past must be the most studied geological feature in the Northern Hemisphere. It would appear all previous studies and analysis have gone out the window as QME want to do their own.
Interestingly QME don't list AYM as one of their current projects, merely that they've supplied equipment to Anglesey Mining Plc.Given that nothing has happen on Parys mountain for decades and they are still looking at the paperwork so to speak what equipment would that be.Maybe their web site needs updating?
Gate shut yesterday that's not good,if it were today I'd put it down to it being "poets day" push of early tomorrow's Saturday. Is this ever going to go anywhere?if it is then it's at snail pace.BOD never been very good at giving updates,I'm not expecting a running commentary but the odd progress report wouldn't go amiss and a basic outline of the time scale would handy as well.
The point is there may only be a few days supply of some metals but AYM are not in a position to exploit the situation. Therefore at this point in time all talk of stock levels are irrelevant As previously stated bigger players in the industry can quickly make up any shortfall which clearly their in no rush to do at this point in time.
