I met a man on Match.com, Claimed his name was the lovely Winston, Said he dealt in stocks and shares And asked if I liked to follow strange dares I got all excited and began to blush Got my credit card handy and went out with a rush To follow his dare and buy the share That would make me a million Or so he declared This man is my hero, he thinks just like me Sink all of our savings In the mighty EEE....................
Hope you've been on a buying expedition - buying cheap apartments in Hungary and Poland! Oy vay that would make me a happy lady. Just to let you know that blue is my lucky colour and I'll be backing the blues next Saturday - Birmingham City when they play Everton! My fav. championship league team is Cardiff and my fav. league one team in Wycombe Wanderers - ALL PLAY IN BLUE!! I love blue, gimme more!!!
Thanks guys, I've been out of it for the last few days. Great to see the RNS and see that they are bringing in such a heavyweight. Everyone needs to ask themselves - would they be doing this and making such a positive forward move unless they planned a major fight back? Great to see as I was a little concerned after reading up on the trials and tribulations of Mr Boymelgreen. Onwards and upwards................

This link shows the type of man he has been http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m3601/is_29_50/ai_114243402/pg_3/?tag=content;col1
Digging a bit deeper now, I've looked into Shaya Boymelgreen who as you are probably aware is a director of both Engel and a director of Azorim. This being so, it almost makes a mockery of what I was told by Sandy Jamieson - hence the "smokescreen" comment. This guy appears to have done for property development what Bill Gates did for computers, albeit not quite so successful at the moment. Despite the following link, he is obviously a shrewd character who I'm sure will have the ability to rise like a phoenix from the ashes. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/02/nyregion/02developer.html?_r=1 I'll keep on digging
I have just spoken to Sandy Jamieson at Libertas Carpital. He informed me that Azorim had only recently admitted to the company that they had purchased the shares and that as soon as they had been made aware they had released the RNS. According to Sandy Azorim are governed under Dutch law regarding company notifications but still should have advised EEE. Hmmm.... screen and smoke comes to mind!!! I think perhaps a little investigation into Azorim might be the order of the day.
Good afternoon fellow EEEnvestors! It was almost an exceptional day today, up 32% at one point! However it is encouraging to see some movement and buys coming in, it suggests that there is still some confidence out there. The 100K sell took the shine off a little but hopefully something he/she will live to regret when this recovers. What a lovely day, most of my holdings have ended in the blue. Just wanted to share the feelgood factor.
Well I have to say that it's great to see more activity on this board, with just Winston, Northern and the occasional message of sympathy and encouragement from Sharedreamz77 we were a little thin on the ground. Brook I'm sure you are going to be brilliant on research and it's obvious that we are more likely to find valuable information with more people searching. This is for the benefit of all of us here. However as Winston rightly said, when things were looking dire, we kept our spirits up with some light humour - much better than some of the horrendous bickering seen on some boards. It is true to say that no-one would be stake building without good rEEEson. Have a great day everyone and lets hope for a good week ahead.
I was hoping for some of the white fluffy stuff - we don't get too much in Dorset! I'm afraid it will be a bumpy ride for a while until investors are able to get more info on the bondholder situation. What is it they say - Fortune favours the brave?? Just a silly thought - I think the snow is an omen S usie N orthern O ligarch W inston. Help I think I'm going mad! Totally off topic - has anyone seen what has happened today on DEO? the last I looked, they had risen 230% today on NO NEWS, so there is hope for us yet. GL
Happy New Year everyone. Particularly my dear fellow muskateers Northern and Winston. Sorry I have been totally on the missing list over Christmas and the New Year. I hope you both had a fabulous time. Now down to business..... great find Northern on the link, we will now have some interesting times ahead. We need to find out exactly who all the bond holders are as this will give us a clue as to their possible intentions. IMHO they would want to maximise the potential of their investment and I would think that there will be a combination of selling off assets and developing the sites with the most potential. Either way they will be looking at cutting the wheat from the chaff which can only be good for EEE. This isn't a share for the week kneed investor but I'm staying for the ride. GL
Thank you Winston, Ooh it's so nice to be missed by somone!!! Northern I too love your optimism but there again, my glass is normally half full not half empty. I would love to see my glass overflowing with this one and 25p would do that nicely - Crystal anyone??? Off now to travel up to Birmingham for the festive season, going to watch my favourite football team Birmingham City play against Chelsea on Boxing Day, interesting that both teams play in BLUE, my favourite colour!!!! I hope you and your families have a great Christmas, SusieB xx
Hi Guys, sorry I've been on the missing list - Did you both miss me??? Nothing much to see on any of the boards at the moment - I guess everyone is out Christmas shopping in the Pound shops! I would like to wish you and your families a very merry Christmas and a happy happy BLUE New Year - our time will come! All the very best to you, SusieB
Sorry, I was copying a link for you and didn't mean to paste "Sandy Jamieson" just ignore that. the link is http://ezinearticles.com/?Property-Market-Conditions-in-Eastern-Europe&id=3078747 Regards SB
I don't disagree with you, however, without the support of the parent company they probably wouldn't have extended themselves as much, so it is a bit of a swings and roundabout situation. The facts are that they were a fast growing company who were caught with their trousers around their ankles when the recession hit hard. The signals are all around for a recovery in the Eastern European economies, however, it does well to consider that a lot of property investment in these countries isn't just from the domestic markets but from foreign investment. As long as there are enough investors still out there with an appetite for better gains than they can achieve in their own property markets, then the eastern europe property markets should have a sustainable recovery that would gain legs in the first half of 2010 Sandy Jamieson
I'm struggling to get any meaningful information, as you can imagine, everyone is being very tight lipped. However, one comment which is of great significance is that all the loans are Non recourse loans, ie: loans are specific and secured by each project. This means that at the very worst scenario, if they default on payment, the bank would reposses the project. The bank would not be able to go after any company asset other than that particular project. I would imagine that they will protect themselves by keeping any revenue for the projects which are more likely to be sold on and perhaps forfeit the weaker ones - this of course is IMHO. It is only what I would do if I was in their position. Hopefully they will have some very clever FD who will be able to rob Peter to pay Paul, keep the meagre funds moving around and keep the wolves from the door until those delicate seeds of recovery begins to ease their budget deficit!!
