Friend recently flew back from Nairobi - flight so heavy with cargo it had to take off westwards to avoid a tailwind - never happened in his 50 years of flying from Nairobi

A hydrogen-fuelled future energises Johnson

This is where hydrogen comes in. .... government want to replace natural gas with hydrogen so that .. there’s no carbon used in home heating. The idea is that hydrogen would be pumped through the existing natural gas network (as long as old iron pipes had been replaced by plastic ones) and into our homes.

The other use for hydrogen is as a fuel for long-distance transport. There is a view that you simply won’t be able to get an electric heavy goods vehicle which can make long journeys as it would require too much battery power. But hydrogen could work well for lorries, trains and even ships.

Indeed, there are already hydrogen-powered buses on the streets of London. They are Johnson’s version of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, two of his favourite things put together.

One of the attractions of hydrogen buses is that they don’t need recharging all the time, they can do about the same distance as a conventional bus, and can be refuelled quickly.

I am indeed....I don't know about nerve, but you could be right.lol.....it has it's difficulties at times as you know mkts can be unforgiving however most folks jobs have difficulties too ....

Hi Pr, ramping, how verey dare you...lol...highlighting a share on a bb is pretty standard practice and benefits new and existing holders ahead of news flow etc....it takes all sorts to make a market from those who provide the technical info to those who highlight the opportunity etc , yup some rampers (we actually have something to ramp here) and there is also a place for the quieter and negative posters, we are the market....re your point of 'just wait for news' it kinda misses the point of being in position before news breaks, as many did a week or two ago when some folk highlighted the news before an rns landed, so we all benefit...in answer to your last point 'do I get bored' nope I don't, stocks and shares is my job and CPX is a decent chunk of my pf, has been for a few years and I have enjoyed as others have the journeys from these low levels 3-4p to 12-16p in the past and there is a lot to suggest that the potential ahead is no less :-)

ps. PCO1 is spot on the maxwell/tesla case is the bonus, and could be a very welcome bonus too, however the production start up is the initial biggie :-)

Air Partner fell to 17p as all airline-associated stocks plunged. However, it has clearly had an excellent start to the year, with the company heavily involved in organising repatriation flights and facilitating the worldwide freight movement of PPE and industrial parts.
As a broking business with relatively stable overheads, increased activity quickly flows to the bottom line, boosting both profits and cash. Unsurprisingly AP shares have taken off and are now around 80p. Hopefully, there should be further to go — including, perhaps, a resumption of dividends.

excellent rns -Net profit up 189% to £4.14m (H1 2019: £1.43m) ,tremendous growth in the first half, full year, 'we will exceed full year expectations." £16m cash

look to the last rns maybe for a clue, looks like we have a seller for a week or two, once they're cleared we're good to go again....opportunity for a few cheaper shares or patience while they clear :-)
