Ceres Power hopes to become the ARM of energy

Hydrogen is increasingly being talked up as part of the solution to our climate change conundrum and fuel cell specialist Ceres Power (CWR) is hoping to play a key role in a clean energy future. Its ‘solid oxide fuel cell’ – known as the ‘SteelCell’ – is capable of running on hydrogen and the company is also investing to make its technology suitable for electrolysis – splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using electricity.

Thanks to £49m-worth of equity investments from German engineering giant Bosch and Chinese engine maker Weichai, Ceres is sitting on £108m of cash and short-term investments and has no long or short-term borrowings.

looks like an overdone drop, so added to original holding @ 189p we were stiing at 230p a couple of days ago and business is getting better. as below...general mkt drops often provide opportunity

Intersting debate following the battery day meet, with commentators stating aim is to produce and supply battery technology at some point in the future, owning the whole process, however, over the next three or four years they need to involve other partners (panasonic initially mentioned among others) to develop ideas andtech and at the current time Tesla rely on other manufacturers for their tech and supply...as stated a lot more to come regarding the finer (cpx area) details over coming months..so all to play for still re maxwell /tesla...importantly the key factor in the short term is the transformation to production, wholly owned now, for little ol CPX...that is , should and will be a catalyst for sp movement as CPX transforms into a global producer of it's own products to an already established market and on that is forecast to grow much larger....it's taken a while but we're closng in on trading and operating a business on a new level :-)
