ROSE's production cost is barely over $30 per barrel and well pay back a little over 11 months. I understand there still lots of interest and some kind of jv is on the cards. ROSE is still very bullish so we will see what happens.

A successful drill will mean ROSE is a producer and yes it can borrow just like PXOG. Dilutions will ease off and real return will be seen by the shareholders.

Remember this is no wildcat drill like MATD.

I said my piece and I now think the share price may drop a little more in the short term, but ROSE will come good long term. Once they become an oil producer they can borrow money and bring an end to the endless dilutions. They are going two drill to wells per year and being horizontal drilling the bopd should be substantial. The 3D's only cover a small part of the acreage and once ROSE gets their feet on the ground they can start to walk and then run. Malcy has said the patience and due diligence will pay off and I agree. They have recruited a team of experts which know the Paradox Basin inside and out. IMO it says it all.

I am holding and may add but now I wish you and everyone a Merry Xmas as I am sailing off until the New Year. I am truly hoping that 2019 will be a better year for all ROSE shareholders and we can recoup some of our massive losses. It has been disgraceful and has caught me and many others out big time.

Rose Petroleum News from Rose’s Gunnison Valley Unit in the Paradox Basin, Utah, USA this morning. The company has agreed a plan with the Utah BLM to extend the boundaries and include the recent acreage where the GVU 22-1 well is located. The well is considered to be a top ranked well location based on 3D seismic and with proximity to the successful 28-11 well. The plan is to drill this in Q1 2019 by which time the necessary funding will have been secured. Rose has been working closely with Schlumberger on this process in order to optimise all aspects of the well, including the fractured networks to maximise its performance. This careful analysis and developing a good working relationship with the Utah BLM makes it clear that the company has something potentially very substantial on its books and i’m sure that the diligent approach will pay off for patient Rose shareholders.
