Couldn’t agree more, they’ve acquired assets at an impressive rate.i’m a Little bit behind you in terms of numbers, but also don’t have any plans to go anywhere right now. Onwards and upwards!
Yes, an update would be welcome. I’m interested in the official finances that are published later this month. I’ve been looking at the cash raised over the last year plus oil sales up 31st March. I’ve got £8,467,384, plus assuming around 150,000 barrels of oil sold at average of about $65, that’s another £7,367,000, so total amount of money going into the company for the 12 months up to 31st March is just under 16 mill quid. Now bearing in mind we’ve probably burnt through most of this, but this doesn’t include the 5 mill US, nor the ongoing 7.5%, and more importantly our growing portfolio of assets, it just makes the current market cap even more ridiculous. If Canter Fitzgerald ever get their arses in gear and produce a research note, which I would expect after figures published, we should see a serious change in the SP. Looking at any one of out major assets should account for a major redress. Good times to follow - GLA!
Now if we can just get some CO2 permits through . . .
Indeed, and now we’ve got some cash behind us, the announcements could start coming along a bit faster. Is all the nitrogen going to subsidise DTU, or are we going to sell some? I reckon it’s WD that could be a corker 100% owned, but that’s a little way down the line. And we’ve still got 220,000 acres in Helios project.
Yup, that’s another 200 grand.
Results are finances up to end of March, so that will be oil from first 2 wells up to that point, but not extra five mill. I think there’s plenty coming in the next three weeks that may have a greater effect on the SP - ED, WD, Nitrogen, CO2, DTU updates, even Helios third test drill. Can’t believe our MC is still only 24 mill - I think August will be a good month.
Summed up perfectly blue. Good times ahead, just read a few of the old threads on advfn about how HNR would never drill a single barrel of oil- funny! Listening to that last interview on Vox with Pricey, this is going to be epic. Put more into this share than any other because I believe in it. Good times to come!
If these guys ever get their research note sorted that should put a good spin on things. Just West Denver, 100% owned, 48 wells, 100,000 barrels each, at $70 a barrel that’s £336 mill, last CPR valued Helios at over £300 mill, that was based on less than a third of the land we currently have. DTU might really take off now we’ve sorted a good Nitrogen supply, and of course there’s 7.5% of another 22 wells in East Denver. And we could have ourselves a nice little CO2 supply in Arizona in the face of a supply shortage. And Muddy, and Gravity, and Uranium. What’s our Market Cap again? Had a beer with Eric Boyle last week, he reckons we’ll see a research note after the last year’s figures are released at the end of July. Sometimes it seems like we’re always another month away from news that will be transformational to the SP, but looking at what this company is, compared to three years ago, makes me wonder where it will be in another three.
I hope so, but I don’t know how much more good news this share can take!!
Yup, pressure was too high, they didn’t have the equipment to handle it. Gotta go, England game starting!
Cant believe how many sells after this mornings RNS, all the ducks in a row, news on ED soon, news on WD after that, and were re-drilling a possibly already proven well for Nitrogen. Originally suspected drops were because MMs playing games because of a big buyer but none has materialised. In the scheme of things the odd penny doesnt make a big difference- its just annoying. Eventually . . .
Interesting thought genty. My first thought was why was the original well capped, but this line from the RNS was quite interesting: Highlands will re-enter, wash down and re-complete this well with equipment capable of controlling high pressures.
Great summary Fadec92. Podcast was excellent. 6 wells should be up and running soon. Possibly 5,000 boe a day, $325,000, 7.5% is 25 grand a day initially. 16 more wells to come in ED, 48 wells in WD, Cheap Nitrogen, Appealing DTU, not to mention the big game in Helios 2. Good times to come, RP is building a solid company.
Agree some great posts. Did read one earlier from some tool that suggested it was all over for DTU if this drill wasnt successful. Just need a good research note now and a couple of good investors and its sunshine at Highlands.
Great post vez63 and summed it all up pretty well. There has been a certain amount of cock-womblery on the board today, but I always see that as a positive sign. Regarding your final question, Ive got a feeling that we could be about to find out!! Now, a theory. No reason for this to drop this much. Either someone in the know is dumping shares because they have some inside info on a problem we dont know about yet or more likely in my opinion, the MMs want shares because of a new investor. Yes there have been many false dawns on this share but with such good fundamentals, its gotta go up some time! If anyone doesnt like the share, the company or the BoD then fuuck off - Simples!! In line with my new investor theory, I reckon this will continue to drop to about 15p, then details will emerge on new investor, then it will FLY. But this wouldnt be my first optimistic prediction on this share to fall short on this share. Ha ha ha - keep the faith peeps. And now a Sean Connery quote: Greetings Highlander! You have the manners of a goat and you smell like a dung beetle!
I like your thinking. On your point of asset accumulation, 200K acres baby! When Helios hits, this is gonna blow big! Respect your opinion, and whilst I would be delighted if we get a div. but I just dont think were big enough just yet. And I would be quite happy if half mill went towards getting Helios up and running. Thats the point where wed see a div.
Although obviously I would welcome a dividend I wouldn't hold your breath on that score. I get the impression that RPs warrants are an insurance policy just in case one of the big boys tried a sneaky takeover. I had a beer with Eric Boyle the other day and I have to say, he was more buoyant than hes been in a long time (although a bit sick of *****y emails from ****ed off shareholders!). On the cash front, yes with have the money from True and the money from the first two wells (I cant remember if it was up to end off April or end of May before it switches over to 7.5% moving forward. I did mention that I thought we were getting stiffed on the True deal, but as he pointed out, oil companies dont tend to carry insurance, so had anything gone wrong during the first two wells, it could have been game over for minnows like HNR. Fortunately it didnt, and hopefully in the not too distant future we will have eight producing wells and no production overheads. True is a multi billion dollar corporation, thus the not carrying insurance is less of an issue. On the cash point, yes we got a heap of cash, but were burning through it at an impressive rate. I bet Cully was on a decent package bearing in mind his experience, but the impression thatIve always had from conversations with him is that hes a smart, ambitious guy. He was running the show in London recently and I feel that he wants to run his own company moving forward, but who knows? Hopefully were on the cusp of something big, and yes, whilst weve heard that before, the progress that the company has made over the last three years is truly remarkable. At the recent presentation in London, I asked the director from one company how long hed worked there. He said 20 years. In all that time theyd produced no oil. Then Highlands presented next and destroyed all the companies that had already presented. Anyway, have faith guys, this may drop by a few more pence but I reckon by the end of this year will be several times higher than our currant SP.
Great post HD!
JofHoggit, ha ha, rant over, Im just sick of the insinuations that Ive heard off some people on here. The other day someone suggested I was receiving payment to talk up HNR. The reason a few people get invited for drinks when the board are in town is because were intelligent, polite and tactful. When I see RP I still ask him the big questions. When I see CC or EB I still want to know why the share price is so bad. Im just sick of two bit investors that have about 250 shares making stupid comments because theyre too dumb to realise whats going on here!
yup - he knows his shiit!
