....why would Kibo (LC) even contemplate another license application in Tanzania if they/he were not completely confident that this was a country that Kibo could do business in. If there was any indication that, for example, the price they could get for coal was not very profitable, whether that be direct to consumers or for power production, why would another mine be a good idea. Would you make another business venture move in a country that denied you or shafted you your previous venture.......no.

...and a bit of mischief, there is another reason that the financial position could be being tidied up. I've seen it a number of times just before a takeover (a friendly one that is). The argument against, unless it was them, is that Sepco would not have been allowed the potential to own such a large slice of Kibo.

Just need to ensure that our hero goalkeeper doesn't again make a world class save on a shot that was missing the goal, giving away a corner from which the opposition scored.

Now you're talking. With all due respect to LC and Kibo, to achieve the ambition of a major player in the development of an Africa wide energy company (before I die) a mega company with the associated infrastructure needs to take over. 50p a share rings my bell.

Hi aerial. It was the latter. I was once an EDL investor but lost patience nearly two years ago. Switched to Kibo as it looked to be moving at a faster rate. Who knew eh :-))
Still looks crazy that a company with assets like that could have a 4m map. It's a mad world.

In adding more coal assets? I'm thinking about EDL and what appears to be a really good buyout opportunity. Aerial may be able to give a more informed update, but it appears the BoD would not be averse to an approach. If we think we've had it bad here, consider the pain those investors are going through. Perhaps bringing EDL into Kibo Energy could be a sensible move for both parties. Don't think it could be bought for the present market capitalisation, but who knows.

Given the problems of this site over the past week, I found myself looking over on the advfn site for info. What a mistake. They appear to hate this stock over there and the main protagonist (no surprise to many) is lurker. He/she/it has written something of a novel today which just batters Kibo.
Must be getting payment from someone for this level of attempted business assassination.

Defo a large legal contingent JD, from both/all parties (as maybe more around the table than Kibo & TG). In a previous life, I was heavily involved in putting large contracts together. The most complicated and time consuming aspect was always the legal stuff.

Makes you wonder about what could merit such a number of personnel. 40 TG staff plus, no doubt, a good number of Kibo resources. Given that the PPA documents originally presented by Kibo where, in their eyes, complete, what level of rework would necessitate such personnel numbers. My take on it would be that the documentation has been rewritten completely to incorporate another stage or more and to fully comply with new mining legislation. On that last point I would even go so far as to suggest that Kibo is working closely with the TG to actually define and develop a template of rules and undertakings that will be applied to all future applications. I maybe completely off target but cannot put this down to just foot dragging on the part of the TG. Any thoughts.

Not wholly convinced that your request for my opinion is sincere, but for what it's worth..... Every investment into AIM companies is a gamble just above that of horse racing. One can do the research as far as is possible but we always remain 'out of the loop' so far as critical info/decisions are concerned, as these things are generally within the legal confines of the boardroom. One must trust the information imparted by the company to the shareholders (or not) and act accordingly. For my part, I do trust the Kibo BoDs and LC and believe shareholder value will be delivered within the next 12 months. There is no way that I would speculate in any greater detail unless I was LC himself. Suffice it to say, If he was in total control of all events (i.e. TG licences and approvals) I'd be mortgaging the house to buy more shares. Trust and patience required. Sorry that I am unable to add any additional substance to the argument mizman. GLA

I've not gone and upset some 'establishment' posters have I. Soz. Antium. That's why I rarely post. Although my opinion about a full listing for Kibo still holds. Very happy for aeriel to pass on timely movements in the share price, but the majority I see are after the event. Just look at the prices against or before his posts.

No offence buddy, because I'm sure you are a completely inoffensive type of guy, but you must have a masters degree in stating the bleedin obvious. In the hundreds of posts I've read of yours, few have stated more than the current share price. Please stop, or better, add an opinion or forecast based on what you think/know.
