I guessed Putin been tipping off Xi Jingping about what is to come on the 9th.

On May 9th Putin will address the nation, there Putin will talk about Russians assets being seized and sold by USA and Europe. Assets include Chelsea football club, Russian yacht, mansions , Russians banned from sports etc etc.
Putin will then address his people that he will do the same..
