HIVE Blockchain announced via email this week it's all set to acquire an existing 30-megawatt (MW) mining operation in Quebec from rival Canadian mining company Cryptologic for CA$4 million (around US$2.8 million).

Many private investors I suspect will see dividend being cancelled at such short notice as a kick in the teeth, ~ the markets certainly have reacted swiftly with a nigh on 30% SP decrease in one day!

Hopefully the BOD with issue a RNS to restore confidence saying they'll not take their bonuses and bought XYZ number of shares out of their own pocket!!

..and what do you suggest they do !?!?

This share certainly does seem a lethargic bounce back, particularity for LTH's who are still nursing 48% losses but remain loyal, believing in the company!!

Heath care folks NMC also suffered from MW "reporting", however they are making a very strong recovery already, ~ and as far as I know that's without news of a possible float!

Plus I'd assume NMC have to buy in their legal expertise; where as for BUR its their core competency? While I and others will continue to wait the fact is we can't console ourselves with healthy dividends! For BUR time does not so far seem to be time a "healer"!! Grr

or maybe even share their collective experiences, if salient facts and timing of buys/breaking news mirror each other, if would add credence to "this was/is not a coincidence". Possibly join forces, in a joint/parallel, action, giving economy of scale plus a revenue stream for Burford !?!

I will also tap out a line or three to Robert Bailaiche; as a long term investor I am considerably down on my initial investment. In August with Muddy Waters "interest" we had firm RNS rebuttals, updates and BOD buys.

While I don't expect minute by minute updates think a statement of progress issued as the year draws to a close would bring hopefully bring good cheer to all long term holders., ~ its gone awfully quiet, not sure I like "Silent Night(s)" I much prefer "Come on ALL Ye Faithful"

I think if the BOD gave :~

update on their progress with forcing LSE to reveal alleged stock manipulators and

an update on how their plans for USA listing are progressing,

it will give this share traction. !?

If the BOD were to issue RNS giving an update on progress of their quest in seeking judicial approval to obtain data from the London Stock Exchange that may steady the ship and quell some of the volatility around this share?

Bit of a "tree"shake before the anticipated new listing next year?

Not sure if folks are "dumping" as from what I see no "big" sales, folks may be a tad sensitive to any fluctuation now, so that has a ripple effect, causing others to sell/panic.
