The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
When I was in prison, I used to watch a lot of ITV ..I liked on the buses it’s a repeat from 1972 still best thing on tv..
I see itv have new ideas, I can’t believe I thought this company was going places last year
Define easy, I get up go cafe for breakfast, play computer games watch tv and take my dog for a run out to the beach.
On the buses great show.
That just means u caught airplanes so some chump could make money playing golf on your sweat
I bought in a £1.30 and 70p not cool, I don’t think Economics news is going to be good for a while
Hopefully all this oil money…Will get some Middle East interest. I would buy ITV and get some love island action.. you could put 3 hotties into the contract and still get a good deal
Ok I will check out bids and mergers I thought if they is worth 40p… here is a quid now run along and get me a date with some bimbo off Love Island with the change.
That looks amazing… My itv shares are looking secure… a bit of gay porn always fills you with confidence..
I bought in at 70 but I think this might even drop to 40 then maybe a big fish buy them out for 70. I wish I had left my money in property now
There are no operators really computers and robots do everything humans just need to collect, deliver… unloading sorting and splitting can be done by robots much better than humans and cheaper
Don’t care stay in long run got a lump sum put it away it’s a growing sector and hard to break into for a new player.
My first time buying shares bought a nice amount. I worked for DHL in Bonn and Royal Mail have potential. DHL are the Biggest tho.
You talk utter tripe, sound like a trumpturd European citizens are majorly supportive of the Euro a Greek Citizen with a Euro in his pocket is backed up with some of the finest companies in the world. Nobody apart from the dumb U.K. cares about their previous currencies.
My bull is based solely on Economic theory the bull I learned in my MSc 20 years ago. But economists don’t know anything it is the ultimate hindsight subject
It’s not the Euro that is going to get a beating to death it’s the £.. Perfect time to destroy the crappy currency.
Having worked in Germany and with some of the old school companies such as Porsche and DPWN DHL, they hate the £ and the UK leaving the EU and how can u blame them, the EU is the Nash equilibrium..
the holy grail in Economics
The £ is a lame duck currency backed by crap housing stock, services and banking.
Waste of €10bn a year in currency exchanges.
Up against Stella businesses such as Mercedes’ Benz and Renault.. it will be beaten to death. Soon enough
You be surprised what people what crap pensioners and prisoners and people who watch ITV during the day buy. Why do u think QVC and the myriad of tv tat sellers exist.
ITV has 250,000 hours of 1970-2000 tv in its vaults most of which got 20m viewers in its hayday and a massive % of these that are still alive are pensioners sitting on their couches with a mobile phone and a credit card.
I have worked in Prisons and old peoples homes and most people who watch ITV all day watch re runs of coronation street or on the buses from 1975. They are the customers that ITV are neglecting.
I do agree Royal Mail is shambles for a parcel delivery Company having worked from Geodis to DHL DPWN up to board level 70% service level would be totally unacceptable. At DHL it has to be above 95% at all times with an aim of 99%.
I would sack em all and pay top dollar for the DHL board from Bonn in Germany.
