Bozi - I have every confidence that the mine will be built. Just because we aren't party to every line in the contract or every detail relating to the deal does not mean much.

The stakeholders in this deal have been over it with a fine toothcomb for the last 18 months. Every letter in every word in every clause has been pored over by every party concerned for months now. Detail will emerge over time.

I just wish I'd found this company today rather than 4 years ago - hugely undervalued and massively derisked in a sector that is strategically critical to the West. An unbelievable bargain.

Bozi - Ozango secured over $200m to build the LJ mine. ABSA, FSDEA and DFC will have signed off that RNS. The money will be in the bank at some point soon and the mine will be built. It's as simple as that. Just because we haven't got precise dates (yet) does not mean they are elephants in the room.

In terms of PLC funding, the company seem have done ok so far. They have plenty of levers at their disposal. One thing is for sure, the BoD will keep any dilution to an absolute minimum. This is a commitment PA made from the get go and has been entirely consistent on.

ToxicBull - it was at 16p 4 days ago. It's hardly collapsing!! As investors work out that Pensana is about to become one of three Western producers of NdPr in a strategically critical sector that China dominates, the SP will slowly but surely align with the true value of the company.

For what it's worth, the other two Western players market caps are $4.4bn and AUD7.2bn.

Let's be honest, raising $268 million off a market cap sub $100 million is a remarkable achievement, and by funding at the subsidiary level it sees much less dilution than would be the case had it financed at the Pensana level.

Tony - For the purposes of clarity, Pensana holds 84% in Ozango and is expected to be diluted over time to circa 60%.

Stockwatching - above 51% and below 84% (which is where it was before financing announcement). 64% was mooted but tbc.

It's a year old and a lot has changed since then, mostly in favour of Pensana (NdPr price, geopolitics/Trump, increased demand - robots/defence etc). And also take into account, this is just phase 1 for the LJ mine, doesn't include a processing plant or Coola or Sulima. And at that point the Americans (DFC) hadn't shown any financial interest in the project.

As I say, the SP has some way to go.

ToxicBull - it had been way oversold, largely due to 2 (perceived) financing failures. Now it has confirmed the funding to build LJ, there is plenty of juice in the tank here.

also, if you are so convinced that the company is going to go pop, you really should back yourself and either sell (if you do actually own shares) or short the stock. but i don't think you will because you're all mouth and no trousers.

DS22 - The reason we are trading at this level is because we have been here a couple of times before and the market won't believe it until it sees it. Once the finance is announced (which this time it will be), it will be a different story. We go from a hopeful to one of three Western companies operating in a strategically critical sector.
