Ftse doing well today.. i guess it's due to the rally in us markets on friday. The rally should continue, many analysts think we are out of a bear market and into a bull market. Lets hope this is a start. September approaching, when the big boys come back from holiday. Also BA selling short-hual tickets again. Oil down again which is always positive. Hopefully we will break £1.24 soon..then normalise into the £1.50-1.70 level which is a fair price for IAG. DYOR.

Rogue, you talk to people that dont fly!! I travel on business a fair bit and i can confirm flights are always packed and people want to fly away for holidays..and i can confirm the pointy end is always packed!! You talk to the wrong people my friend!! Plenty of people out there with plenty of monry to spend. Dyor.

Oil is down which is positive for airlines..it will make a difference in profits by staying low for longer..come winter this share will soar.dyor.

Patience, patience and patience...this will shoot higher when it's time..IAG will be growing again soon and so will profits..and this will inevitably rise. When oil was low and oil companies were low, everyone thought that was the end of oil shares..now, look at them.. At some stage this will be in favour again and will rise by a fair amount..I am going to buy more at the end of the month just before the big boyz come back from holiday!! DYOR.

September will be more interesting when the big boyz are back from holiday. moving sideways at the mo just because of that reason. Enjoy the sunshine!

Liquid....meaning??

Surely the airport statement this am should help the share price to head higher soon. When the chaos was announced, we headed lower. Now things are improving and flights are normalising again..it's time for shorters to close positions or risking being burnt!! IMO this be north of £1.70 by Oct-Nov. DYOR as always though.

That’s despite concerns about a slowing economy, travel industry labor shortages and other headaches, as some large corporations seek ways to cut back on spending.

“The anecdotal feedback that we’re getting as we go into the fall is people have to travel more,” Chris Nassetta, CEO of Hilton Worldwide, said on a July 27 earnings call. “While people are worried about where the macro environment is going, they’ve got to run the businesses. And in fact, the more worried they are, the more they realize they sort of got to get out there and make sure they’re hustling.”

I stated something else Scotty. Please read my post. I said we will follow them, i remember after 2008, us airlines went up a lot and we did follow behind afterwards..I do remember as i traded them a lot. I think if us airlines soar in the next 2 years, we will follow suit. I doubt we will be stuck on £1.20. But, we shall find out. Thats all.

US airlines up 4-5% now..we always follow them. We will see. £1.20 here now.. DYOR.
