Livestock, if they transfer passengers onto another service to the same destination which is what they are doing, it does not affect revenue at all. Also, passengers are not entitled to any compensation when the cause is a strike or a funeral. Check it out!! Not sure what you are talking about. DYOR.

22 British airways flights are short haul flights to destinations with more frequencies so consolidating passengers on other flights.. will not impact long haul flights at all. Number of passengers and revenue will not change ONE BIT. DYOR.

British Airways said its cancellations were on short-haul European flights where multiple services run on the same route, and that it was adding larger aircraft where possible to help customers re-book on operating flights.
Alternatively they can choose to have a refund. No long-haul BA flights will be affected but some will be re-timed.
