nah...too low...this will recover before that. The markets at the moment are causing this fall, all assets..not just RR. So wether one holds shares or has a pension pot or money in the bank, we are all losing big time..or houses (soon). So those coming out calling for a never-ending tailspin, be careful to what you wish for!!! An end to the war would lift the markets big time IMHO. DYOR.

Emerald, it's 469 to be more precise I think. Yes, they have more flights to the US as from October and more in November as they are restarting services to Tokyo, extra service to Singapore....and i believe they will soon have 2 a380's to Johannesburg ( not 100% sure on this one). In order to make more profits they need to run more services and thats what they will be doing. Can't see this share going down much further, so glad i got loads more at £1.
1 or 2 years from now we will def be saying what an opportunity this was. Same as after 2008 and again after 2001.

By the way, GBP/EUR was at a low of 1.0883 early morning, now approaching 1.13. This is a big bounce. DYOR.

I actually made some with BP and LLOY. Quite a bit actually..but have transferred more to IAG now and EZJ as i feel we will get more upside. As you don't like shorting and did not buy in, you couldn't have made much...plus inflation will eat your money too!!! GL. I stick to my plan of buying more at these times when people are either too scared or have no money to buy! DYOR.

Yes, next inflation reading should be a lot lower..Prices at the pump have fallen remarkedly from £1.92 to £1.61 per litre. gas price cap in place meaning bills won't go up stupidly. I agree with you Sundance, those who are out will lose out plus they are staying in cash so they are also losing. Every person will have more spending power soon..and if and when the war stops, prices will come down and so will inflation..and markets will soar in my opinion. But DYOR always.

And i do own quite a lot at 84pence still. Plus i am buying more now at these levels....the 40% tax rate suits me fine...free shares really!! cheers to that (oh...and less N. insurance and less tax at the lower rate, what more can i ask for??!!!).dyor.

And, who said i intend to sell next week?? I certainly am NOT. I am buying with a medium term view and trust me, this will be a lot higher! I don't think you have a clue whatsoever!! Why not buy now when this will be 1.50-2.00 by next year??

FTSE to open up at 7051, 33 points higher. Oil down at $77 and $85 which helps airlines. Now it's the time for me to nibble BIG TIME. Number of flights is stable..over 600 according to ba.com. DYOR.

Must remember to load up using the extra money from tax cuts..cheers guys!!

Mararab, November, November...it's round the corner...and passenger cap will be lifted. All flights will also be fully staffed apparently. DYOR.

Plus oil is at $89 now. A boost for all airlines. Fear of investing in airlines will subside and the share prices will literally take off, sooner or later. Shorting airlines is getting rather risky now!!! GLA.

I feel lucky to have bought in at just above £1.02. In the drawer now, no rush, it will go up. Another busy day for airlines, i see. Good numbers all round. GLA.
