Ive been think a great deal about a meeting i had with Alan Burns in the Hilton Hotel ,Nassau.It was about 18mth /2years before his death..I remember him telling me with such passion ,how this was the best prospect he had ever seen..Over the years BPC had fallen into dog status and i believed that this great discovery was going to be for another generation..Alan Burns knew what he was talking about ,he did great things in Africa..So i think about our conversation these days, knowing that an oil major is looking at the detail of what he told me all those years ago.Actually,I think the deal is done..gla

I believe that the SP should be trading at 4/5p now,on confirmation of a deal 20p+ and leading upto a spud 30+ We have been in the 20s before with nothing much more than the good prospects,Its only because we have been in the deep freeze for 10 or so years that we ever reached the lows we have..We were looking at mere survival, now the conditions for a deal are the best we have seen,we know are prospects are fantastic , so does the major,and the strong evidence from activity in the field is that a dealis on the way..Nothing in life is certain but this looks as close as it gets to the real thing in O&G.

They always put that in..no matter how good it looks, standard stuff.

Im amazed that they have been able to keep the id of the major secret..I would have thaught some journalist would be ringing around the suspects ,getting denials and then from one a "no comment",simplistic but you het what i mean.
