For what it�s worth ,I have a friend who does contract work for Statoil..He says no way.Statoil changed their name to remove the word oil and are focused on alternatives..Bahamas oil is at odds with their stated future objectives..

I wants to move up but needs more volume

There is a simple financial choice for BG..Go bust ..be excluded from financial markets for years and watch the country decline into poverty or embrace the oil industry and have the prospect of being a very wealthy nation.All indications are that they are going with the latter option...
