Not popular, not popular are you serious
You use that description like it was describing a bad comedian,a bad film or even a bad restaurant.
Your selling to take a profit and clear a mortgage although shows some strength of judgment on your behalf on the day has obviously created some kind of psychotic misguided mist that has prevented you from seeing even a dark shadow fall over the morality of the man and I use that term man very loosely.
I met him for lunch once and asked a few questions and within 5mins I knew he was never going to answer them truthfully, trust me I used to do it for a living during my military service seek out the truth that is in some small room and a nervous prisoner. He lied basically Crudeo he didnt ell me the truth so I ended up talking to slithering snake Traynor about fly fishing in Mongolia. Not popular ???? ,clearly Crude you are a severely confused misguided individual to come on here and tell everybody that you had been in contact during pandemic days , one may ask if you really didn't receive any guidance when to sell . Not popular ??? eating red hot coal would be more popular
Both KTF and Ericnat make very valid points as NOMAD I think ( correct me if I am incorrect) is the organisation here that supposedly are the RNS police and I would think comment on such a statement if you officially stated that Mr Moroccan IRS can stick their tax demand where the sun dont shine .
If Sou go to the courts on this which it looks like they will its not going to happen anytime soon ,in fact it will go on for years and by then Sou will have given ONYM and Morroco what they apparently are in very short supply of and thats the gas ,plus ( lets be positive here )they mechanically stimulate the two wells they intend to frack and hopefully increase flow rate where everybody is smiling ,including the Morrocan IRS
If it is true that senior board members are in Morroco discussing the tax issue then its safe to say that it will most probably contain statements and truths and hard hitting facts similar to :
Listsen Up toots
" if this tax issue has to be paid now then the implications of that is that all the hard work ,logistics ,potential, seismic study, data etc to provide that ever increasing shortage of a commodity called natural gas to an energy vacant country like Morroco that Sound has accomplished over the 10 plus years that it has been in Morroco has been for pretty much nothing , zilch, zero as we could possibly go to the wall " and that will not be to pray I can tell you that Mr Energy Minister of Morroco
Of course MrEnergy minister wold be very aware of this fact
So expect news very soon how the trip went if it actually did
Sound will not be the only ones suffering dont forget there will be other eyes watching that will be just as frustrated with the Moroccan Tax authority decision whether right or mistaken its now final unless GL appeals
ONYM has a lot of skin in this company as well as Italia Fluid and of course, the various banks that GL has mentioned.
No one wants Sound to hit a wall here as to start again with someone else would take years and years they havent got
Good post Ps 2025 will be a good year so its not the end of the world or somewhere worse, we could say we are just in somewhere miserable, liken it to being told you have won 2 weeks holiday in Clacton, you know its not nice but at least your not dead ,you just feel like it
Lets be positive here ,we get some great company as a farm in , frack the he55 out of the drills we are going to stimulate and increase the daily scuff rate by 90% ,the tax bill will be a distant memory ----------- hopefully
Very good and informative post and the maths look good even if you wrote math which is the American version unless you are American of course.
One thing that you may of got incorrect though, and that is your statement they are all exploration wells.
They are not , only one is and thats M5 the rest are appraisals and are already showing gas so they are going to Frack the he55 out of them mechanically and hopefully increase the mmcf/d
Not too sure if that alters your calcs
Excellent levelling post-Ps and good that you show people the small print before they go out and choose which 4x4 they want to drive.
It is all about the dilution now as you say as the pie gets bigger but our slice is getting smaller
Lyon did inform me that their data is being shared so it would not surprise me that there will be news soon of someone who will take it on as they don't have to seel it that hard hopefully
Also, it's a little bit disappointing and annoying that the biggest potential reservoir M5 has the least chance of success at 21% but it is an exploration not an appraisal and I believe the standard is 17%
You are assuming that the people who posted are actually at home and not working or have nothing else better to do or as you state wasting tbeir weekends
They could be offshore on some vessel somewhere or on some shift /watch,on duty or even busy doing something that normal, as in you , people dont do
Dont be so judgmental and assume that everybody is in the same position but yes you are correct if they dont fall into any of those categories then please enjoy the weekend and don't spend it posting on a BB
18 million $ Mr Fish if my memory serves me right
If we owe it then we owe it as don't forget (and no doubt they wont either),we will be getting a 10 year tax break when we start so maybe the authorities are stating tax is tax and you have to pay somewhere
The only events that will get this moving in the right direction are already in motion IMHO of course
It's not confirmed for one second and yes for the past 2/3 years all that's happened to the sp you can call noise, there's been nothing to give it a boost and as Mr Ps very truthfully points out the financials are there but are they solid?, absolutely not but to get where we all want to be that's all we have, Parsons ET Al did a good job, for themselves that is and we are paying for it now but they didn't press the buy button and that's been covered to death
It doesn't surprise me one bit he's doing the same at AST
The majors are all very busy elsewhere at the moment and the projects are several times bigger than what Sound has but dont think for one minute they don't know about Sound as it wouldn't surprise me if Sound is sharing data or info with them but as stated they are focussed in their own areas for the moment.
They are trying to raise funds with primary secondary debt etc and when they do then they will make stuff do stuff so let things take their own course sit tight and not listen too much to posters like Mr Rickshaw as he/she was just passing thru
Mr Rickshaw
In the land of the blind, a one-eyed man is king , hopefully, that's not too cryptic for you in what I am trying to convey
There is gas in Morocco,it may be tight and it may be deep but its there and yes Sound has had its fair share of hype and scandals and free booze and b/s and yes I agree we are not exactly flush but there seems to be a serious person in there now and what a come back it will be soo that shallow advice you have so kindly given is not needed or appreciated.
Are you going to be moving on Mr Rickity Shaw as I was having so much fun as you seem to be struggling with long words
Anyway to be continued as I am going to talk to someone or something far more sensible and take my little Jack Russel for a sunny walk
Thank you, Mr Rickshaw, for your fantastic short-sighted insight into world events and the inevitable up-and-coming world shortage of gas which will lead to more exploration in countries that really haven't been explored that deeply, Sound owning the biggest acreage in one of them and of course not to mention your very kind almost child-like advice for the less well-informed of us to "move on."
Sigh !!!! I can only put it down to being not very bright or being dropped on your head when you were a child or even taking various illegal hallucinating drugs at the time or even all of the above.
I think the only thing that should be moving on is the person who wrote the advice.
Mr Ps
Very good logical and true post
May I ask your opinion on the prospect of a dividend,a .6p has been bounded about which means you will have to own millions of these to make it worth while as .6p , really ????
A comment was made a short while ago ,cant remember by who but it stated that surely it would be better to put that money towards exploration, can this be done ,are the interlinked ?
In this instance, I actually do and have met him on several occasions and yes wildcatting is not called wildcatting for nothing and having been on several drilling campaigns over 25 years ,do you have this experience ??,from remote places like Greenland to Brazil to Kabinda I would say that I have quite a substantial amount of experience of the so-called industry-standard you stated
He was forced or swept along to comply with the rhetoric as I was informed by a very old colleague of his during the Chester event who by the way I have said on several occasions advised I sell everything as he said they will never find anything of value in Morocco as they have been trying for 30 years.
The Chester event which maybe 4 years previous was a very sobering experience that I shall never forget as the sp was 80 p then I think
Good feed back indeed
During one of the may emails I sent to the previous BoD members a few years ago ,one reply sticks n my mind .
It was from Mr Mitchener who as all the LTH,s know has not exactly hit the bullseye on any target and imho is partly responsible for the fathoms of water above some people's heads here "but" and its a big but .
He did say on one reply that despite the lack of success on the drills this time all would be shown on the SBK drill if its ever drilled .
Sound Energy is a leaky vessel that's for sure as there have been some dubious buying/selling in the past just before results whether negative or positive,it would be impossible to prevent so just watch the sp before the SBK drill as Mr Ericnat says there has been further analysis on the seismic that would of resulted in renewed confidence so if the buying starts then its game on as they know what's down there
They have had more than enough time to figure it out and Argent is still here which to me means he wants to prove something as he was extremely positive to me during a lunch meet once a few years ago
The M5 massive structure is very encouraging
Did you know that the film actor Yul Bryner was a devout Liverpool fan and he never ever wore aftershave?
Thats right " Yul never wore cologne " LOLO LOLOL
Im here all week ??
Mr 69 dont be sad it will be ok when you finally get the hang of the big words , be happy Mr 69.
That's an "h " by the way as in " happy .
