I also agree with that Mr Pound but whatever they tell you as answers will never ever be close to bad news so the questions will be filtered for sure , the previous BoD did it all the time as Parsons told me they did so what's the point of you cant answer truthfully and yes each their own
If there's nothing to discuss which it seems like, then all the QnA is is an investor PR stunt,to show the world and all that they are interacting which is good I guess but as stated unless we get something now to talk about or get confused about so we have to ask then this QnA is about as much use as a ash tray on a motorbike it serves nothing other than a tick on some list somewhere. Not good in my opinion but necessary , take note Ms Sarah as I know one of your jobs is to read this board along with others as you spend the beginning of your day having to do that, if we don't get any news then the Q nA is just noise like a barn door in the wind.
You actually get my vote on that Crude but I don't think we are strong enough anymore, the days of the Tommy Gun-Toting Brit Bull Dog are long gone, this country has been diluted to that of fat free milk and we are on the slide to insignificance and I am an x serviceman it makes me cry sometimes when I see our vets the way they are treated and I am making zero apology for off topic as if you don't like it don't read it
I especially like this bit

Fundraising for the second phase of its implementation was carried out in July 2022. Afriquia became a shareholder of Sound Energy in August 2021 (before the Akhannouch government), giving credibility to the realism of the project in the eyes of neophytes (gas prospectors and oil often make optimistic announcements)."""
Well done Ducati, keep em coming thanks.
No Mr Crude you were lambasted for comparing this CEO,s performance /administration to the last CEO,s administration, as you stated that " at least the last administration something happened " or something to that effect that's what pi55ed people off and if you don't understand that then that alone speaks volumes and answers all my curiosity
Hi Mr Wolfe.
Well when Brian called in the morning at exactly 0900 which was the arranged time apart from explaining the geo stuff which may as well been in Klingon he did say that the geo guy who he knew did try for his job so as it was said before there may of been a bit of sour lemon there not sure but yes I fully understand your feeling although a T10 leverage you must have an idea of what you are doing as that's too risky for my internet speed or does anybody really know .Trellis and I kept in touch for a while after Parsons bu55ered off and he really did stick it to Jimmy P to the extent that Jimmys name was on some Police Fraud list somewhere I heard so maybe not a good thing to have on your CV so at least he got a black mark against him ,but yes Trellis did seemed a nice guy and no idea how far it went and such along time ago.Better more stable things now with GL but don't forget he's still an AIM CEO but not a bean counter which means a lot on its own and depending on the volume of course and of course if it ever gets there I will be getting out at my average which is way way north of here but less than 25 .
Mr Pescado
I know Sealand Road very well , huge British Aero Spac plant there, used to be a Wellington Bomber airfield in WW2 and its in the Guinness Book of Records as building a fully operational bomber in under 24 hours,I grew up in Penymyndd and moved to Mynydd Isa, then Buckley but I moved to Kent 2 years ago which is where I occasionally live now as most of the time I'm offshore now working. We may of bumped into each other at some point, and yes it sure was an interesting night and I just wish I took notice of that guy but wishing things like that really is a pointless exercise
Mr Pescado ,
I was at that Chester event as I used to live in North Wales and as I was waiting for the whole event to take place I was sat on a chair at the back scoffing the nipplys before we all went in at the Grosvenor Hotel which is where it was held.
I guy was standing next to me writing stuff down in a small note book ,this memory will stick with me for the rest of my life .He asked me if I am invested and I told him yes ,he said well its best if you sell as soon as you can ,sell the lot as they will never ever get commercial amounts as they have been trying for 30 years there ,the geology is too tight .
Wooooh all stop I said exsqueeze me who the fe55 are you .
As it turns out this guy was a very experienced geologists and he was there on behalf of some other investors who wanted his take on Jimmy P and the magic dragon he supposedly was going to deliver. He then told me that he was a personal friend of Brian Mitchener and that they where both in Uni together .
He also told me that the clever money was getting out including James Parsons .
I still had 20 mins before it started so I thought I am going to confront Parsons and ask him ,Parsons was actually taken back a tad and asked where the guy was but by then we had started to go in and the guy whos card I did have but lost was standing at the back.Parson did his thing that we all now he's good at then at the end heb asked me where the guy was and he had gone .Parsons then asked me if I wanted Mitchener to call me the next da yand he did and gave the same gealogy spiel that he always gave and the next few weeks the share price tanked
You see Crude that post from KTF has very accurate information and I totally agree with him/her as its not about that you sold and made money,I will say well done you had the fortitude and discipline to do what everyone on here wished that they had done the same thing, it's about that post criticising whatever GL is trying to do now as for some , including me,its the last go at the bull's eye as if this doesn't work then all the books that I have read about investing that tell you never fall in love with a share turned out to be true that's what has sparked this debate about you and you can wish everyone well as much as you like with their investment it means as much as a pork chop in a synagogue
I also had a meeting with Parsons, and I also found him to be affable and polite I also, within the first 5 mins of the lunch realised from his body language that he was never going to tell me the truth and I had that slime Traynor sat next to me as well and he practically slithered off his chair with b/s.After the lunch was over, I said my goodbyes and thanked everyone but I totally regret it now
I have no doubt in my mind that Parsons didn't tell you anything, didn't sit you down and say, sell now, Crude or you will lose the lot as I have sold over a million shares so far or buy more vas there's news, no KTF is right that's illegal, no that's way too easy to say.Its a glance and nod and remark or breath of circumstance that you came away from those multiple lunch hours or home visits with either a bad feeling or a good one and you either bought or sold on those feelings ,you most probably didn't even know you had .
Meetingt a CEO on an official investors meeting is ok but in private is not ,you shouldn't of met him privately or and the very least told everyone about it and most of all to compare GL with Parsons felt like gargling Tobasco sauce
In all the various posts over the years that I have read on this BB and yes Crud sorry Crude I have been here longer than you I think it would be extremely difficult for me to think of something more accurate than what KTF has just written and that is
" I guess it must be hard having to rely on official communication from the company that we all see." absolutely, positively correct in that statement. It doesn't matter if its inaccurate as in not totally true as there's no way in God's little green acre that you will convince the faceless and unknown on here that you didn't receive any guidance or not one little jot of inside info from Parsons and that is why peeps get so angry when you come back on here criticising GL. GL actually told me once in a email that he was specifically brought in to plug a leaky ship and I for one am glad that at least now we stand more chance of not going under and losing the lot as I tell you this if it were Parsons at the helm we would now be dead as a beaver hat as C4 is now I beleive.
At least under the previous administration, there was plenty of action.
Have you been freeze-dried or living in a cave as the only action the previous administration accomplished was for them selves and in that description " themselves " I include you , jeeeezzz are you serious
As I always tend to try and figure out why things happen rather than the actual event happening, don't get too worked up or excited as I certainly do agree that an RNS has never been submitted for a Q n A before The team in attendance maybe there as yes they certainly may be putting out news beforehand and it may not be good hence the reason for the barrage of questions they are expecting
Mr Pescado
I can only assume that English in the written form is your second language as that made absolutely no sense at all to me but in my defence I am not a follower of the beautiful game neither am I a skilled wordsmith.
Anyway no matter hey ho its a free country," at the moment "so knock yourself out be as incoherant as you like
As soon as the traders realise that this is an investment going somewhere and not a quick quid as that's all they are making with the volume stated then this will start to move ,albeit at a slow pace ,maybe even slower than now but it will walk with big boots on its feet
I assume Hasiba you have access to L2 to state something like that .I am on a vessel off the coast of Mogadishu with tektonic plate movement being quicker than the internet onboard here so L2 would be impossible for me any chance you can provide the size of buys please ,most appreciated thanks
I recently received an email from Mr Lyons answering a few queries I submitted to him.
His response was swift and forthright, and he very kindly answered what he could and also congratulated me for remaining invested in Sound, as that wasn't the first time I had emailed with questions. Hence, I found it encouraging and rather impressive that he remembered my name, as it was well over a year ago that I last corresponded with him.
What really struck me from his return email was a small comment he made, which was not made to be any confirmation or way ahead, but he just said that shortly Sound hopefully will be at a different level and it will stay there; make of that what you will but apart from the " hopefully " bit I am pretty convinced that this company is about to go somewhere sunny and that right soon.
