Thats what I am afraid of and that is the million $ question , dividends if they are classed as that in the LE payout I heard some where are taxable in an ISA which will totally defeat the reason why PI's have put their investments in a tax saving wrapper .
If its comes down to the vote of whether to accept the dividend ( it is a rumour at the moment I believe, something heard down the B Bros pub ) then there will IMHO be a huge vote against it.

Some very good alternate methods of an LE discussed here which I had no minimal knowledge of with one very interesting one by JtF recently.

I like your self-have experienced the drill floor as an N Sea tiger back in the mid 90,s but went on to ROV drill support and then subsea construction for 22 years so I do know the difference between a casing and 7-inch production liner so here's a question for you.
They turned off the cameras around the time they set the last casing joint, I maybe am mistaken there but either way, do you think it was because they didn't want anyone to know or figure out that the 7-inch liner was never going to be set which could have only meant one thing,please correct if mistaken but what was the reason for the camera shut down
I am currently offshore at the moment so will not be able to log in tomorrow so please everyone take time with your questions as there some very astute people who are long-term holders out there and some are angry and rightly so IMHO that will want to pay back and someone to blame rather than looking ahead at what is the best way out of this.

I am fully aware of what Mr Parsons has stated before and yes I expected a raising of some sort thru share issue despite what he said but its the fact that he has not gone down the debt avenue of cash raising that is disturbing you have to ask why on earth could he not raise 15 million by debt ,thats the issue here

What happened to raise cash by debt.I fully understand how a placing works and it's quite common in companies trying to raise funds but JP said he would prefer to raise cash by debt which I am to assume is by borrowing well you could think this placing is because no one would loan him the money even 15 mill so you have to ask why not
I dont think its good news at all as it conjures up too many reasons why he didnt go the debt way
