You need to read back through 4 or 5 pages on this DGO forum for those answers. My guess is that DGO will rise to +500p, but seek professional advice or do your own research to confirm this. Good luck ;-)

Its gonna get even better very soon. End of year accounts are forecast to be extremely pleasing to the eye, and are due to be released imminently :-) Great timing with oil forecast to reach 120usd.

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Dragon Oil PLC said it hit a new gross production record of 40,038 barrels of oil per day on Dec 31, exceeding its internal target rate of 40,000 bopd by 2008.

I got lucky and exited on a small loss after reviewing their finacial statistics..... lesson learnt - never jump in no matter how good the news looks! Cheers.

I tend to avoid low volume shares as they are easily manipulated. e.g. Level2 order book on XEL is currently empty!!!!!!

Why? I've literally just started looking at this one, and I'm still looking for a reason that you would say that for this particular share??? I'll do some more research on BARX in the meantime.

You have two choices:- 1). Sell for as high as you believe you can get now or 2). You're in for a very long haul/hold back up the hill given the outlook for 2008, and the look of their poor accounts and forecasts etc! Also, there share price was already falling steadily before the MHRA news; the daily volumes are also low. Just my opinion though.

Totally agree. I did, unusually, jump into this share after the positive 'surprise' regulatory news release, combined with a very low share price at that time. Within 1-2 hours I then went to look at their accounts and forecasts (just in case!), and my jaw nearlly hit the floor at how bad they were. However I then exited almost immediately, with a small loss, compared to what I would have lost had I hesitated and held my shares!!!! Research is key.

Ignore these latest 'miniscule sells', they probably don't even know what's going on!!! These are just some people taking their daily pocket money out, and have little vision of what a winning share actually looks like. They will be very sorry when the end of year figures comes out shortly. This is one of thee most highly recommended shares about, so if people can't hack it and stay in for a little while, then they're in the wrong game and will only lose money in the long term anyway. I don't know of any single source that says you shouldn't be buying into this share, unlike many other shares recommended on this board that are just a ‘shot in the dark’. Just my opinion....please do your own research.
