Sorry but the bank of england misread inflation. If it was driven by an overspending consumer fine but its not. Supply constriction and external shocks have brought the upside inflation...increasing economic pain may lead to stagflation meaning the interest rate policy is ineffective. Perhaps trading policies are an issue as well bu the uk hould be growing food rather than paying farmers to not and secure energy supply. Selling bonds is also not helping.
