Have you thought of selling your Lloyds Banking Group shares

I agree its frustrating holding a losing trade but you sometimes in life have to decide enough is enough if it getting you down daily .

or just take a chill pill, its only money mate, Lloyds shares are giving us a good yield on our savings ( we are been paid to wait )

Life is good, take a walk and have look good around , life is too short honest .

I agree if I was an CEO at any UK Bank

I'd be chucking the kitchen sink at buy backs Bank shares never been so low in their history

Bank shares are NOT going to stay this cheap for ever IMHO

We can all look back into the past

BUT

No-one can predict the future

May 2013 after 4 years of holding Lloyds Banking Group since May 2009 , very similar to the last 4 years, ( 2019-2023) I also saw Lloyds go down to under 30p in 2012.

I got fed up ad sold at 56p after 4 years in May 2013

Only to see the Lloyds share hit 80p plus over the next 18 months in 2014 and 2015

Last few years its been a little like de ja vu

Growing Profits / Massive Buy back programs / dropping inflation

Will the next 18 months or so, finally come another sweet spot for Lloyd's Share price ?

Time will tell :-)

Some Analysts are now saying FTSE could hit 9700 within 12 months now :-)

Nothing to tell me not to like here accept the low shares price over the last few years

If we do another big buy back in 2024

I probably just carry on regardless topping up in the mid 40s in 2024

I don't need the money and the dividend is ok for me to hold on here if I am honest.

But he posting like he is an upset Lloyds share holder or is he just a trader and playing the upset long term holder game ..lol

BTW well done on your March sale here, if we go above 52p/53p , again I may consider a 50/50 sell, looking to buy back in later in the year at a cheaper price myself.

BTW I don't want to buy any other shares if I am honest ( I will lose the lot as I am a poor picker in shares if I am honest )

I Agree over the last few years Lloyd's Banking Group Share price has been very frustrating.

This no advice but the dividend is up 15% year on year add the 2 Billion buy back programme for 2023

Makes me content here

It's better the devil you know here

And the grass always seems greener looking over the fence at other shares.

I believe they have got until the end of the year to complete

So might as well wait for a cheaper price to buy back

We may come from 2 different walks of life

But we both have something in common

It's called " LLOYD'S BANKING GROUP "

And we both are still holding after 14 plus years

The reason is you and I believe that one day this will finally come good, Buy backs are are blessing here IMHO
