5 years ago Lloyds Shares topped 90p without Dividends being paid

So the suspension of the dividend here, may not be a as bad I may feel

Fundamentally Lloyds banking Group today is in a stronger position that it was in 2015 balance sheet and income generation

Now PPI is slowly coming a Dead Duck

If I had loads of cash sitting around I be buying more

As I posted last week anyone who was lucky enough to still be heavily sitting on cash or gold, If they not started re-building their share portfolio now you never will and miss out on some great capital gains over the next few months IMHO

Not saying jump all in, Stagger you buys over the next few months

Remember Folks this is no advice just my humble opinion :-)

I reckon Lloyd's Banking Group

Will be one of the best performers

I spoke to my Friend and he said in March it's been business as usual so far :-)

Maybe Antonio and his cronies really thinking they going to get away with it especially if they say nothing hiding and hide behind the Desk praying

I believe Lloyd's have had a good 1st Quarter

Time will tell I suppose

Actually 2020 Bonuses are not the issue today

That's next year's argument

It's the 2019 Bonuses we want stopped like the 2019 Dividend was ..... by the gutless untouchables

Lloyd's are doing the right thing buying back expensive financial instruments paying a fixed coupon rate of 12 %

But this will get messy once the flu clears up

They will need to return something to the shareholders who have forsaken their 2019 Dividend with the interest lost

This is a PLC not a Government department

It's your money not the government's

Gutless Boards paid bit Bonuses and crap on their shareholders

you're never will and been greedy IMHO and possibly miss out on doubling your money and that's just on Lloyd's Shares :-) in the short term

Jersey Boy is probably not even a Lloyd's Banking shareholder

He's probably a trader making good money shorting and I agree if it's helps Lloyd's and the country out, I am very happy to contribute towards the cause.

My bone Is the bonuses to be paid for 2019 I concerned about

BUT I did budget the declared Dividend in February's update and then suddenly pull the rug from under my feet did put in an awkward position

I took action and sold my Royal Dutch shares did take a big hit, but hey ho that's life

So now have the money in the Bank for 6 to 12 months to live on and enjoy life

Not ideal but to sell shares,at loss but big decisions needed to be made....

Still hold all my main investment in Lloyd's Banking Group untouched :-)

CC The Chancellor and the Governor of the Bank of England on how I feel

Its day light robbery to stop the 2019 declared Dividend

What are they going to do with my dividend money if its not loaned out ?

Its like robbing Peter to pay Paul

OK accept , its not going to change anything now, But the Bonuses can be cancelled

I felt I needed to let them know how much this has affected my daily life and now how I am now going to live day to day , and that not all shareholders are millionaires and only bought shares for a some income , due to the interest rates on cash savings zero

Don’t expect even a reply but Hope many Lloyd’s Shareholders do the same

But, Hey ho I feel better for it :-)

I going to send a email to Antonio Osorio, cc and the rest explaining exactly why I am now a distressed individual thanks to the cancellation of the Lloyds Dividend, I not going into details on this public forum, but will let you know if I get a reply

I not entitled to Universal Credit sadly

Also perhaps I should now apply for a loan from Lloyds Bank

There will be a bottom here, its when there are no sellers left

I agree if you can and still got a little spare cash in the bank earning 0% , top up in staggered amounts on each fall

Its a nice feeling if you do hit the Jackpot Bottom call with the buy

Nothing like the feeling you got in there on the 10 year lows :-)
